I had a delightful dining experience at Butcher and The Bear! We started our evening with a lovely glass of Chardonnay, which perfectly set the tone for the meal ahead. For an appetizer, we indulged in Nonna's Meatball, a comforting dish that truly captures the essence of home-cooked Italian goodness. For my main course, I opted for the Mac & Cheese alongside a beautifully cooked salmon. The mac and cheese was rich and creamy, while the salmon was flaky and flavorful—an excellent combination that left me satisfied but eager for dessert. To cap off the night, we couldn't resist the Banana Foster Crepes. The table-side preparation added a fun touch to our meal, and the sweet, indulgent flavors were the perfect ending to our dining experience. The ambience of the restaurant was cozy and relaxing, enhanced by soft music that made for a pleasant backdrop. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who made sure our needs were met throughout our visit. Overall, Butcher and The Bear exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to return for another enjoyable evening!

An absolutely phenomenal meal all the way around! Butcher and the Bear had a great ambiance with amazing food. The octopus was incredibly tender and the NY strip was cooked perfectly. I highly recommend adding this restaurant to your list if you have not been, I will certainly be back!

We dined here for an early valentine celebration and could not be more happy with our choice. The food was amazing and had great options. Our service, Wally K, was so personable and knowledgable of the wine and food. The ambience was not overwhelming and even with a packed restaurant the noise level was not bothersome at all. Would highly recommend for a date night!

We went to try this just spot just for restaurant week. And it was amazing, great service.. such sophisticated, elegant vibe. Will definitely be back. Service and food was great. But for sure get the meat dish. The pasta was good and all but I totally should have gone for the steak.

Everything about this dinner was great! Staff were very friendly and attentive and made great recommendations. Drinks were delicious, oysters were perfect. The beef cheek pasta was really tasty. I didn’t order a steak so I’ll have to next time forsure. Cake slice was huge! Highly recommend!

5 stars for the service and the Wagyu tasting board!! It’s worth a visit just for that alone. Our waitress Kat was so sweet, she sang me happy birthday and made good conversation. I will say the rigatoni wasn’t my favorite but everything else we loved

My husband and I recently visited Butcher and The Bear Steakhouse, and we were truly impressed! From the moment we walked in, the cozy and stylish ambiance made us feel right at home. The food was top-notch, with incredible quality and beautiful presentation. A special highlight was the Engine 55 cocktail — perfectly balanced and full of unique flavors. It was the perfect addition to our evening. This restaurant is ideal for a special dinner, and we’ll definitely be back!

Had a fantastic experience at Butcher and the Bear the other night. The server was very attentive and recommended a bunch of dishes. The black onyx ribeye was probably the best steak I’ve had in the city. I was so excited I forgot to take a photo before I started to devour it. My wife had the sea bass with tomatoes and olives and she went crazy over it (photo doesn’t do justice). Can’t wait to go back. Perfect date night spot.
