The Local on 17 USDA PRIME STEAKS

The best steak I have had since I grilled my own last summer! It was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning! Very chill enviroment. My waiter was patient and attentive. There's no negative feedback from this happy camper! Highly recommend!

Wow! Great reco from the Holiday Inn Express! Lylah was our server - she was fabulous. Knowledgeable and so personable! We started with the steak rolls - DELICIOUS! I had the filet with potatoes and green beans - excellent. hubby had the steak tips and mushrooms over mashed potatoes with a side salad Great atmosphere. Cozy booth. Nice way to end a long day of traveling. So glad we stopped here

First time dining at this restaurant. I must say I will be back soon. I had the Filet mignon cooked medium well with whipped potatoes and green beans. My wife had the stuffed Salmon with a salad. We also had the fried deviled eggs for appetizer. Everything was delicious, you won’t be disappointed!

The Local as always gets 5 stars! I have never had a less than 5 star dining experience here over the years. Last night deserved 10 stars! My friend and I came to dine last night and our server, Brandon was just simply amazing! This made the experience even better!

👋🏽 Heyyy Foodies so had the opportunity to go to The Local and it was great overall!! The Fried deviled eggs are as good as those who rave over them. Steak seasoned to perfection cooked as requested. Portions were healthy. The Ilene plate was a little light on the sides. Roasted chicken was bigger than expected. They don’t sell lemonade so no Arnold Palmer unless you make your own with lemons, which turned out really good!! Surprise to know it was veteran owned but no military discount 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️I still give this place a 5⭐️ because the service and food were fantastic. Their crème brûlée definitely in my top 5! The ambiance gives a rustic saloon feel and also a little live music when you walk in to a nice sound of country. We had a large group so tip was automatic. Forrest and Kaley waited on us and were great!!

Best dry aged meat I have had, service was wonderful, the server knew all the special off the top of his head and was even knowledgeable on the dry-age process and time the dry aged the meats. 100% will visit again and send others.

Without a doubt the best steak I've ever eaten. I ordered the Prime GA Strip cooked medium rare. It was cooked perfect, served in a timely manner by an amazing bartender/server Veronica. I'm looking forward to enjoying another meal here one day!

Food was delightful and well portioned for the price. But what was even better was the service! Our waiter was knowledgeable, helpful, attentive, and even went out of his way to accommodate my son's fondness of their bread rolls. We will definitely be back!
