The only thing better than the food was the atmosphere. We really enjoyed the night out with my wife. Great food and amazing service, definitely we will come back next week

I loved the ambience. It's dark, feels exclusive, the music isn't too loud, and the temperature is comfortable to be in a dress. Service was great. Drinks were excellent. Food was tasty. My husband and I both ordered filet mignon 8 oz, a couple of sauces and mushrooms and asparagus for sides. The steaks, as is, come very charred and on the salty side. My husband loves it that way. Apparently it's a thing. Me - not really, so after last time's disappointment, I asked for my steak not to be charred. It came out fantastic. Just a bit too salty, which I will mention next time when ordering as well. The sides were really good, but not amazing. But then, they are just sides. Overall, it's a great experience and dinner, and my husband's favorite, and he knows a good steak! So we will definitely be back. Just need to make sure to mention personal preference when ordering for me.

Came here to celebrate Valentine’s Day and was a little disappointed. I ended up forgetting to review the place because of how much I didn’t care for the experience. The service we got from our waiter was very subpar. He did his job but didn’t have much energy and rarely came to check on us. We ended up waiting about an extra 15 minutes after we were done with our food because he didn’t stop by for so long. I ordered the KC Bone-In Steak and was quite disappointed. It wasn’t as ordered and came out more Medium-Well than Medium-Rare. I would’ve loved to send it back but our waiter was nowhere to be seen and I didn’t care to wait for him to come. My partner on the other hand ordered the Chicken Parmesan and absolutely loved it! I may come back as it could’ve just been Valentine’s Day and the waiter was busy and my partner loved her food so I could’ve just got unlucky. For the price paid though, I definitely expected a better experience!

First time eating here and had a really good experience. Brian the bartender was very friendly to chat with. Drinks were solid. The 8oz filet with au poivre was delicious. Steak cooked to temp, the au poivre sauce was really good and had that nice pepper flavor. Fries came out hot and crispy. Would like to try more here. Just a bit pricy on certain items is the only small critique I have. Definitely come check it out.

Super disappointed. There were 7 of us. The steaks and hamburgers our party ordered were all well done when nothing was ordered beyond medium. It was horribly charred. Service was mediocre. Waiter passed the drinks down the table instead of walking around. 3 of us had the Branzino fish. It was over salted and did not taste fresh, over cooked. All of the food was over seasoned. The brownie dessert was dry. The restaurant was very noisy and freezing. $700+ for the bill. Not worth it and we won't be back. Hope they make some positive changes.

I went to Nowak's last Friday night and the meal was fantastic. I've been to every high end steak house in Atlanta (from Chops to Little Alley) and I would put Nowak's filet against any of them. The service was great and the owner himself came over to ask how the meal tasted. Definitely a great addition to Sandy Springs. I think I've found my new favorite place. A+

Atmosphere is amazing, friendly and attentive service. French onion soup was the best we had ever tasted. The big disappointment was the steak and sides: ordered a 48 oz bone in ribeye for the table, was supposed to be medium rare, turned out more black-and-blue, and some of sides felt like they were from a can.

We had a lovely meal for our group of 16 last night! They accommodated us with a private room and the service was excellent. The group menu was varied, and the "pre-prohibition" cocktails were tasty - and strong. For appetizers, we had Blue cheese chips that were crunchy and satisfying, fried artichoke hearts that had a delicious crunch, and my favorite, a shrimp dish with a rich, mouthwatering roux and bread to dip and savor it. I had a crisp wedge salad, and an expertly cooked filet with a perfect crust. We met the owner Blaiss Nowack who thanked us for visiting his restaurant, and told us about his background and the influence of New Orleans on his flavors. Then we had a selection of desserts from Blaiss' mom, each more delicious than the last, chocolate brownie with marshmallow, creme brule, peanut butter pie, lemon icebox pie, and key lime pie! We will definitely be back!
