Quiet atmosphere, upscale setting, personable service make this a great place for that special meal. The food is well prepared, cooked to order, and quite tasty. My wife enjoyed it as the place to celebrate our anniversary.

Just dined at the bar and Kyle was a super human! Not once did we want or need for a thing, including spectacular service, even though he was so busy. He's clearly a pro with a flair for guest service. Food was impeccable. Perfectly cooked and presentation on point 👌 We enjoyed the oysters raw, steak salad MR and fettuccine Alfredo with blackened chicken. Absolutely perfect. Kudos to the chef and team 🍻

Quality steak and seafood served in a tranquil atmosphere with purposely dim lighting. A bit pricey but fair. Kids menu available too with several options. While there is a good wine and cocktail selection, you must order from your waiter as there isn't a bar. The service is polite and attentive. Ample, free parking is a plus.

My wife and I tries to find different venues to celebrate birthdays. For this celebration I was in charge of the venue and started searching and came across Chicago's. After looking at the menu we were able to decide on this restaurant as it had something for each of us to include our broke 10 year old best friend 🙂. After walking into the place it was a culture shock because we didn't see anyone that looked like us (3 chocolate chips in a big bowl of vanilla ice cream 🙂). We were seated promptly and noticed that the noise level was very loud. We had the pleasure of having Larry as our server who was very attentive and helpful. It took a while to receive our main dishes but our appetizers came out fairly quickly. Once we received our main dishes everything tasted very very good. Our steaks were prepared to our request. Our son really loved the fried shrimp. One downside of this establishment was the very small bathrooms. However, it was a very enjoyable experience.

Excellent ambience, excellent service (Stacey is SO wonderful), and excellent food. Been going here for years and years and it has NEVER changed. Cream of mushroom soup is superb, pecan crusted chicken is great, house salads with honey mustard dressing is bliss, hell it’s all good! Can’t go wrong. Always pleased with this place! Bring back the chandeliers! Candles are OK, but the old school lighting is king!

Absolutely amazing and our waitress was so spectacular AND it was her work anniversary. The lamb chops are absolutely outstanding and they were super knowledgeable about my diet restrictions. 10/10

This was our first time here and the food was amazing. I had the steak frites and my wife had the surf and turf. They were both delicious. We also tried the onion soup and wedge salad. The service was also outstanding. I would definitely recommend this place and we will definitely be back.

This is the perfect type of place to take the in-laws. It’s classic American cuisine with no surprises. My in-laws love steak, seafood, chicken…standard American fare. All the usuals are here. The fried calamari, artichoke/spinach-type dip, a broad selection of soups, Caesar salad, some sort of salmon dish, chicken piccata… And this type of casual American food can be done well, and it can be done poorly, and this place knows their dishes, delivers a good experience and the servers really know how to handle the clientele! The servers are chatty and understand the menu well and know how to navigate the type of guest who is accustomed to having excellent (but unfussy) service when they dine. The portions are big without being overwhelming, and there’s enough choices on the menu that it’s not just limited to the standard American fare. (some items like bruschetta have actually migrated into the standard American fare repertoire, although they didn’t originate in North America). The atmosphere is also unfussy, so that there are booths and it feels warm and welcoming, but the wood tones make it feel a little elegant. Nothing over the top. No outlandish decorations, no surprises, nothing to make people feel uncomfortable, no unusual or edgy artwork; it feels sort of standard American classic elegant-warmth. My in laws (and my teens) enjoy this type of American no-fuss cuisine. The other thing that’s great about Chicagos is that there are no food surprises. When you order your steak, it’s not going to come with an unexpected sauce. Nothing will be deconstructed without being noted on the menu. Your salmon will not be topped with ingredients that you’ve never heard of. The drinks are strong and large. The server is a quick with the menus. And the food comes out quickly. They are quick to take the bill and give you to-go boxes and they check in on you. The perfect place to take the in-laws or the grandmothers, etc. and the teenagers can find something they like on the menu as well because it is big. I wish they had one of these in my hometown, because we have lots of unusual (amazing) cuisines, and sometimes we struggle finding something that is American enough for my family when they visit from Wisconsin as well. Kudos to Chicagos for doing this type of food and environment Perfectly.
