Customer Review Summary
Mixed reviews for Morton's The Steakhouse include both negative and positive experiences. Disappointing aspects include lack of birthday acknowledgment, slow service, and an enforced dress code that was not adhered to. Some diners found the atmosphere lacking and the meal quality inconsistent, with certain appetizers being overcooked or bland. Issues with parking validation and customer service responsiveness were also noted. Conversely, many reviewers praised the West Palm Beach location for its classic decor, excellent food quality, and attentive staff. Steaks and desserts received high marks, and some diners reported a perfect dining experience. Specific servers, like Gabriel, received commendations for outstanding service. Overall, while certain locations, like West Palm Beach, earned high praise, others fell short of expectations, prompting some customers to consider alternatives like Ruth's Chris.

We had a reservation for 2/21 and it was my wife’s birthday. I made sure that they knew it was her birthday when making the reservation. There was zero acknowledgement of her birthday from the wait staff which was disappointing. The service was slow even though the dining room was not busy. We noticed a sign by the hostess stand about a dress code stating that it was business casual yet people were in t-shirts, shorts and hoodies. What is the purpose of having a sign if the dress code is not enforced?!? There was no vibe to the place - just a bunch of tables smushed together, very vanilla. My wife had the filet which she liked and I had the ribeye which was ok. We ordered Brussel sprouts and button mushrooms as the sides and they were good. There is no valet service but they validate for the parking garage across the street…however we still got hit with a $10 charge for parking after we paid $387 plus tip as the validation doesn’t pay 100% of the parking. Lastly we had the wagyu meatballs and prosciutto wrapped mozzarella appetizers. The meatballs were overcooked and very crunchy on the bottom and hard to cut through (see photo). The prosciutto mozzarella had no real flavor at all. *edit* Morton’s - why do you want me to go and write the same review on the Landry’s page? It had bulleted answers, some of which do not apply or give enough options and a limited area (by number of words) to type in details. It honestly was a waste of my time to visit the url you provided. We have visited Morton’s many times in the past at different locations across the country and this was by far the worst experience at a Morton’s. We would not go back to this location but would try the Boca location in the future. If that doesn’t pan out we will stick to Ruth’s Chris and write off Morton’s completely.

From the opening of the front door to the exit of Morton's, the experience was first rate 5 ☆☆☆☆☆. Morton's in Palm Beach is like a step back in time. The decor and atmosphere are a classic modified late 60 -70's. Being slowly updating over the years without loosing the classic Rat Pack vibe. The restaurant was 3/4 full and you could have a conversation wich was refreshing. The menu selection has something for everyone. Whether your their for apps and cocktails or 4 to 5 course meal you will not be disappointed. Everything we ordered was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The Steaks, Lobster and Crab were fantastic. The 5 desserts they had that night were fantastic. Each and every person working there that night could not have been more friendly or professional. They even validated my parking. 09-2023 Been there 2 times since 09-2023. The last time there, 08-2024 it seemed like it took forever to get everything. I don't know if it was a new server or the kitchen was just off a bit. There were no huge party's there and they were about 1/3 capacity. Don't me wrong, everything was spot on perfectly cooked and served as expected. It just seemed like we there forever. We sat closer to the kitchen than normal. It seems that they to do a fantastic to-go business. We had plenty of time to watch and make good conversation about it. When Richard is not there it just doesn't seem like the Morton's we have grown to love the past 5 years.

We visited the West Palm Beach location downtown about a week ago. This was our first time at a Morton’s. When we arrived there was not a hostess to seat us so we were seated by another waiter I believe. There were only 3 other tables occupied in the dining room. We didn’t wait too long before our waiter came to the table to take our drink order. My husband ordered a glass of Pinot Noir and once we got the bill I think he was given the most expensive brand. The table next to us had 7 people in their party and they were attended to by their waiter and our waiter. My husband ordered a medium rare filet and it came out medium well. We waited hoping our waiter would check back with us but he was more attentive to the table next to us although they had a waiter. Needless to say, my husband went ahead and started eating his steak and not once did our waiter check back with us before we finished our meal to see if everything was ok. We waited quite sometime before we got our check which ended up being over $200. Our waiter sensed we were disappointed in the service and offered coffee on the house. I politely told him I was not a coffee drinker, we paid the bill and left. As for atmosphere, I’ve never seen a kitchen set up in view of the dining room. We were not impressed with Morton’s at all and will not go back. We love Ruth’s Chris and that will be our go to for fine dining in whatever city we may be visiting.

I was there for a conference dinner, and enjoyed every aspect, from service to food and ambiance. A very good NY strip!

My friends and I had the most amazing girls' night out at Morton's The Steakhouse, and Gabriel made it absolutely unforgettable. He was attentive, charismatic, and had fantastic recommendations for cocktails that perfectly complemented our meals. Gabriel’s friendly and professional service added such a special touch to our evening. He made us feel welcome and ensured every detail was perfect. It's rare to find someone who enhances the dining experience so seamlessly. We’ll definitely be back for another night out, and we’ll be asking for Gabriel!
