I've never had a bad meal here. On the contrary, every meal has been delicious. The wait staff treats me like I am their favorite guest. The bar tenders are well trained and do their services well. You will never go wrong with the chef specials, although the rest of the menu is scrumptious too. I highly recommend.

We have always enjoyed going to Stonewood for occasional date nights due the service and food generally being excellent. I was excited when my hubby made reservations on March 1, 2025 for our anniversary dinner at Stonewood. From the moment we walked in we could tell things were different, from the host/ hostess staff, to people being told they were running at least 60 minutes behind to additional inaccurate information. While our reservations were for 7:30 we were not seated at our table until closer to 8:20. As we enjoyed appetizers in the bar with an awesome team of servers in the bar while we waited for a table, that is where anything good ended. We were seated in Anna’s section. It took her over 20 minutes for her to even acknowledge us and an additional 15 minutes just to bring my husband a sweet tea. Later when he asked for a refill she totally forgot and had to ask again. Once we ordered our meals they came out 35 minutes later. The broccoli was cold and appeared uncooked. The rest of the food was ok. The lack of service that Anna provided left us wishing we had just celebrated our anniversary in the bar as the service was much better, but as it was our anniversary a nice cozy table was more appropriate. Though my hubby, who is normally very quiet, even shared with our reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary, no one even acknowledged we were there for a special occasion, and we left saying we wished we would have made reservations elsewhere. We had hoped for the normal impeccable service that we had come to know at Stonewood and to make a wonderful memory celebrating our anniversary. Instead, the evening was spent working hard to track down our waitress and constantly following up to ask her to do her job, not being able to relax or enjoy our special evening.

It was loud and not as clean as I remember. The waitress was lovely and sympathetic. She offered us bread because we were so hungry after waiting for what felt like an eternity. The food was very marginal and oddly cold. We ordered shrimp with scallops and shrimp with tortellini. Sending the food back and waiting for who knows how long was not an option. We ate with little to enjoy. Paid what I consider an overpriced bill and left. The waitress was super nice and did the best she could. I’m super disappointed and plan on never going back.

Personally, it all starts with customer service and Lauren welcomed us with a fabulous smile. I’m a-bit complicated when it comes to ordering food and she was super patience! The drinks were prepared by her and looked and tasted delicious! We will definitely be asking for Lauren when returning!

First time at Stonewood grill and tavern Tampa. Our server was very patient and atmosphere was great and quiet( it was also a weekday night so this may differ). The cold salmon starter could have been better served as thin sliced in my opinion. The accompanying bread could have been presented in a more exciting way as well. I eat first with my eyes and the appetizer did not look as good as it tasted, could have used a bit more esthetic plating. I had the shrimp and scallops and my company has the ribeye steak . Shrimp on its own tasted good but together with the scallop was a bit too strong. I would say the seasoning could have been lighter on the scallops. I had a bite of the my partner’s steak. It was cooked medium well, and was one of the better steaks I have had but again the seasoning was also a bit too heavy. Overall good experience.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner enhanced by extraordinary service by a young woman named Anna Dammer. I asked her name because she gave us 5 star service and engaged with us, making the experience feel much more inviting. As always, the food was wonderful too! But in the future, we will ask to be seated in Anna’s section!

We were looking for a new place to try, and I'm so glad we found this one! The host and hostess were super nice as soon as we walked in the door. We were a little early for our reservation, but they seated us immediately. (The seat in the booth needed to be recovered, but it wasn't horrendous.) Our waitress (Azaria) came right over and got our drinks and asked if we had questions. Being our first visit, we had plenty. She was so super nice and helpful. She gave us a few minutes and came back to get our order. Azaria came back to the table with an order of their pretzels because she thought it was taking a while for our food. As she was grabbing the pretzels, she realized our food was being plated and that it would be out in a few minutes. My husband ordered the ribeye, and I ordered the filet. Our steaks were both cooked perfectly, and my baked potato was SO good. It wasn't like most that have been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. The inside was light and fluffy, and the jacket was perfectly seasoned and not rubbery at all! It was such a great experience. We will absolutely be back! Their menu has a little of everything, but it's not overwhelming. You will NOT leave hungry or disappointed.

Everything at this location was amazing my family and I came here on December 29, 2023 for my sister's wedding reception. We had a party of 20 and our sever was David omg he was amazing. He was funny and very helpful I found it odd that with a party that big we only had one sever but he was Amazing. The food was amazing the drinks were amazing. We brought in a wedding cake and he even put it in the kitchen until we was ready for it. I definitely recommend this location.
