What a great little steakhouse hid off the side of the highway and away from the hustle and bustle. The steaks were fantastic! All of the food was fresh and very flavorful. But best of all the pricing was amazing for the quality of stakes that we ate. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the area. We're stopping in to frontier steakhouse!

We were nervous to try this place, looks a little run down, but our steaks were delicious and cooked to perfection! They had a unique flavor since they are cooked over a fire. Salads were super fresh and crisp with real lettuce, not bagged. The baked potato was perfect, also had real butter and sour cream! Sweet tea is brewed and just the right amount of sweetness. Our server, Marjorie, was excellent and we were in and out without a wait. So glad we tried it, we WILL be back!! Wasn’t planning on giving a review, so pictures aren’t the best.

First timer @ frontier and it couldn’t have been a better experience. Our server was SUSAN & she was the bomb!! very attentive & quick with whatever we asked for. I had bone in ribeye with buckskins for the side. The steak was full of flavor & cooked exactly the way I like it. We will definitely be Back! Great Food & amazing 🤩 service.

If you are looking for a hole in wall steakhouse then Frontier Steakhouse is your place. Great rustic atmosphere and service. Steaks are seasoned to perfection. Salad was fresh and bread hot. Steaks are thinner than I am used too and recommend ordering temperature below your normal request I ordered medium and it came more medium well. The salmon was amazing.

I visited on a Wed at 7pm and was seated with in 5 min. My first impression was I hope this isn't a mistake. The decor in the restaurant is not uniform and very dated, and the floor was extremely dirty and stained. I ordered the 14 oz ribeye Med rare at $38.95. The menu says that they wet age their steaks for 28 days and the grade of beef is Angus choice or higher, which I would disagree with based off of the quality of the steak that I received. The quality and texture was more consistent with a select cut of beef. It was cooked as I ordered an had a mild smoky flavor, however it was very tough and rubbery. I would rate the decor and atmosphere at one star, the food at two stars and the service at 3 stars. For one person with a 14 oz ribeye a side salad and a baked potato was $41.00 after taxes ,I left a $9 tip. My afterthought is there was nothing about the restaurant that would make me want to come back and the food is overpriced for the quality being served. All in all I spent $50 on a meal that was mediocre at best.

Our first visit a number of years ago was great, so a recent article posted on media enticed us to make a special Valentine's Day trip, inviting good friends to join us. From our previous visit, I told them to expect a wonderful experience. I had made a reservation several days before but never got a confirmation. When I checked again, the site said they weren't taking reservations, so we decided to be there shortly after opening at 4:00. That was fine and we waited with 6 other groups. We were seated and got our drinks. A fresh, delicious salad was served with their great dressing. We had to ask for rolls. First disappointment. Four lonely small, but hot, rolls were delivered, but no butter. Had to ask for it. The server then brought our steaks. Not one steak in four was prepared the way we ordered. Three were ordered medium and mine medium rare, with a slight crust. The mediums were very medium rare, which turns people off at once. I ordered the boneless ribeye medium rare. It came slightly less than well done. I was embarassed because I touted to our guests they were in for real treat, but along with that, so disappointed in my own steak. Yes, it was Valentine's Day and we were some of the first guests and the restaurant was filling up quickly, so I did not complain. We ate in quiet reserve as our guests passed pieces of steak to each other because one could not eat the rarest parts of their supposedly medium steak. I was still trying to cut through mine. I will praise the chef for the absolutely delicious green bean side dish!!! The server was as good as she could be and did bring us another serving of hot rolls with butter this time when asked. I'm so sorry for this review, it needed to be said. What happened with the stars of your menu?? Could arriving shortly after opening have been the reason?

My family and I found this place when searching for a steakhouse in the area. Got seated fast, had an amazing waitress. Queso and chips appetizer was delicious along with our steaks. Everything had a great taste and was absolutely delicious! Would definitely come back.
