Council Oak Steaks & Seafood (in Seminole Hard Rock Tampa)

Came here to try out the Sunday brunch and I got blown away. Cedric is the best. He took great care of us making sure the entry plates taken away and the drinks are full. We tried all the cocktails and everything was on point. The seafood was super fresh and sweet. The meat was cooked perfectly. The dessert was top notched. I had the best tiramisu ever! Kudos to all the staff. They are very friendly, polite, and good looking. The price is reasonable for the quality of the meal. I'll definitely come here again. Strongly recommend!

The side dishes and appetizers were equally exquisite, showcasing the same level of care and expertise. And to top it all off, the dessert was a perfect ending, both decadent and artfully presented. Council Oak isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an experience. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply treating yourself to a top-tier meal, this is the place to be. My only one complaint would be the cigarette smoke that over powers the air and makes it a little unpleasant for non smokers. Absolutely phenomenal service at the bar…. me and my friends all had the filet mignon, Waigo lamb and bass. We also had multiple different types of drinks from margaritas to espressos with mocha. They are professional, clean, prompt, attentive and absolutely amazing. Food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. We waited about 30 minutes for a spot and was totally worth it.

Had an incredible time! Everything on the menu was absolutely delicious. It was packed when we went and we could easily see why. Service was great, but it would’ve been better if they came around a little more often. You could view the meats in the front while you wait. They had a varied menu. All of what we ordered was very good. It was a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to come back!

I know this is a lot of money but you truly do get your money's worth with all the seafood stone crabs oysters crab legs meats and desserts. This also includes bottomless mimosas bloody Mary's Bellini's and other drinks. The service was also amazing and there's always a great atmosphere here. I will definitely be doing the buffet again.

I typically don’t eat raw food, but my boss encouraged me to try the caviar and oysters, and I’m glad I did—they were phenomenal. The only dish I didn’t enjoy was the Chilean Sea Bass, as it was a bit bland. Overall, I had an excellent experience here and plan on taking my family here to celebrate special occasions in the future.

We were brought a Huge slice of cake for our celebration and our waiter even lit a blue and pink candle on either side of the plate for us, super cute right?! He also order a neat lagavulin and I got a few margaritas and they were all so smooth going down. All in all, definitely worth every penny!🥳🎂

Poor Bulk Steak Service I usually love the Council Oaks, but I was very disappointed by my bulk steak order yesterday. $680 for 9 premium-aged, bone-in steaks, but three of the four NY strip steaks had significant grey/brown spots, and three of the five ribeyes had overwhelming blocks of solid fat. I buy bulk steaks several times a year from Council Oaks, but it feels like my order was significantly impacted with sub-par picks (see photos). I waited nearly 30 minutes while staring at the beautiful steaks in the refrigerated display. Huge disappointment for steaks that cost me $70 and $80 per steak. I wish I inspected the steaks before leaving. One or two bad picks, maybe, but 6 out of 9 steaks is not satisfactory. Not great.
