Charley's Steak House

Took my husband here for his birthday!! Great service Chris our waiter was attentive and friendly- the food was excellent!! Far better than what we had at ocean prime or capital grill- we had scallops and crab cakes for appetizers- both excellent- For entrees i had lobster tail 😍 and my hubby had porterhouse steak- both delicious- The only thing neither of us were crazy about was the salad but other than that the blueberry mojitos on point and our sides of mashed potatoes and asparagus cooked perfectly!!! I would highly recommend and would definitely come here over other restaurants for service food and quality!! Oh and lastly we got some meatballs to try for free for my hubby birthday absolutely fabulous especially the marsala sauce!!

I don’t mean sequins, but come on. I’m disappointed. Also, both the bathrooms and the hallway they’re located in smelled like an open sewer. BAD. Upscale restaurant, upscale menu, upscale service- too many customers dressed like they’re in McDonalds or at a beach bar. I know Florida is casual, but if you charge top prices, your atmosphere should match it.

A very nice dining experience starting with the complimentary valet parking to the very nice and clean atmosphere inside. The minute you walk in the smell entices your appetite. The recommendation from our server for the fried with Cajun seasoning lobster tail was spot on. WOW it was amazing. Never had deep fried lobster before but will be going back for this. The service was good and the rest of dinner was good as well. I’ve been here before and will say the center cut filet is excellent each time, that said last night I order medium rare and it came out more medium well but it was still good. I found it a bit more salty than past but still very nice. Service was good but it took a long time to get our much needed Togo boxes and check. Last comment, you could make it easier on the customer and seem less pushy if your pay at table device didn’t start with a recommended tip of 25% and then going up from there. We are good tippers but this turned us off. I feel I should share that. Let the customer decide as it is awkward enough already with the server standing there holding the device while you add the tip.

Such a great experience and steak was so good. I forgot to take a pic of the seafood tower but Charley’s does not skimp on portions! Our server was so attentive and did not pressure us and kept our water glasses full. Thank you for a great time!

Also, calamari. After dinner was warm butter cake with a scoop of ice cream. Great choice for a birthday outing. Delicious and a server with a warm personality and good recommendations. Excellent!

This restaurant is excellent! My husband had the NY steak and I had the salmon as well as crab Mac and cheese. Everything was excellent! Superb service! Fish and Rich our servers are super attentive and kind. We really enjoyed our dining experience ❤️.
