Lively chain steakhouse serving American fare with a Southwestern spin amid Texas-themed decor.
Customer Review Summary
Texas Roadhouse is well-loved for its fluffy yeast rolls and cinnamon butter, with several diners praising their early dinner specials and reasonable prices. The chicken critters and ribeye steak received positive mentions, as well as the attentive service from various staff members. However, there were some complaints about long wait times, particularly due to a hostess's mistake and poor server attentiveness in certain instances. While many enjoyed the lively atmosphere, one review highlighted a disappointing experience with burnt rolls and delayed food service. Overall, the restaurant is recognized for its value, atmosphere, and generally good food, with some calls for improvement in service consistency.

My teen son took me on a “date” here after school for their early diner special! He absolutely loves the fluffy yeast rolls and cinnamon butter. He told me that if you have an empty basket, they will bring you more. We had the special which was $12.99 for a 6 oz sirloin and two sides. My son gets fries and apple sauce lol. It was a delightful meal and very reasonable. The server was great and everyone in the restaurant seemed to be enjoying themselves.

I highly recommend a reservation as this place was very busy. Loved the chicken critters which are simply chicken nuggets but are cut from real chicken breast. Sweet potato was perfect but the green beans needed more flavor. The 3 - 5 pm special was a great deal and it had nice-sized portions too.

The ribeye was great and the burger was very good. Great service, atmosphere and food. Get there early, it's always packed. Prices are great for the quality of food they offer. Love this place

I checked in with the hostess and was told it would be 45 min to be seated. After 50 minutes I checked my status with her and she said that she accidentally cancelled me. It was another 40 min wait. People make mistakes but her snotty attitude was unnecessary. Tom our waiter was outstanding and the food was good.

Mmmm Texas. We got seated really quickly after using the waitlist. Everything was cooked perfectly, the sirloin was excellent. The cactus blossom was crispy but not as much flavor as a bloomin onion from outback. Our server Chris was great, very kind and attentive. The atmosphere is pretty wild, super busy, lots going on but once you’re seated it’s not too overwhelming.

Just a Taste: Overall Texas RoadHouse is a great place. The atmosphere is a warm inviting one and the server Briana was literally top tier! She was honestly the icing on the cake. Super personalable and understanding when I requested for my steak to be made over. She went above and beyond in regards to it because it was definitely a preference concern. (Seasoning) Texas RoadHouse, keep up the great work and we will certainly make our way back.

Love the food here! It's a little loud but a happy loud. A lot of food for your money! The rolls are amazing with that cinnamon butter!

Seated with rolls that were burnt so bad we weren’t going to eat them, but we were hungry from traveling and nobody showed up in the first five minutes. Kebabs for me just a grilled chicken salad and french fries for the other person. So Service Five minutes for somebody to greet us at our table, they saw the burnt black rolls didn’t even say a word . We got to start. It took about five minutes for her to get back with. She took our order and that’s the last time we saw her till I let her know that he hadn’t received his fries yet I had already finished my kebabs . Kebabs were the worst I’ve ever had. The rice was like some kind of paste. It was pretty disgusting to be honest which sucked. Oh also, when we told him that his fries were missing, remember I had already eaten my kebabs. I was done eating. It took them about 10 minutes to get the fries out. Our salads were really good so there’s that. Oh yeah, the tea looks like mud and tasted like they hadn’t changed the tea or cleaned anything in a week. Wish I would’ve gotten a picture of the rolls. I mean, it’s pretty impressive that they were burnt that bad and they still sent them out so kudos to who ever has finally found their happy place and really doesn’t give a crap what they’re doing
