Renzo's St Pete

Our first visit was amazing, which is why we decided to return. Unfortunately, our second experience was disappointing. The meat did not taste fresh, was tough, and seemed to have been reheated. It was not the quality we expected, especially from an Argentine restaurant known for its BBQ. Sadly, our group of four left unsatisfied. We truly hope the restaurant can maintain the high standards that made our first visit so great, but based on this experience, we won’t be returning.

I’ve been coming to Renzos for years and cannot say enough good things about the place. Everyone who works here is friendly and the food has only gotten better. There’s not many places in st. Pete where you get this kind of warmth & international vibe, it’s actually the only place in town I feel comfortable going solo and grabbing a bar seat & having a glass of wine. I love bringing people here who have never been before and showing them this gem. Had the margarita and pork belly just Friday for date night and it was out of this world. The dark-haird gentleman was extremely professional and generous in serving me today. I ordered the New York strip and a small caesar salad. He knows how to treat his guests like a million bucks All best, Clayton.

The food was divine and the staff were terrific. The lamb chops and gnocchi were both as good as it gets, in my opinion. My only complaint was that we were seated at the bar during happy hour and asked if we could sit at one of the high tops right next to it and order some food. We were accommodated but told that the wine would no longer be happy hour prices, which only apply to guests seated at the bar. I’ve known places not to extend happy hour to the dining room but never a high top in the bar area.

I can't say enough about how fabulous this place is! The staff are extremely friendly and professional. The food, the food, the fooooood = epic. Amazing experience I will definitely be back (still dreaming about the steak we had)!

From start to finish, our evening at Renzo’s was nothing short of spectacular! Ben, our server, went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. His food and drink recommendations were spot on, and his attentiveness was exceptional. One of our dishes was initially brought out incorrectly, but Ben handled it with grace and efficiency. Not only was the issue resolved promptly, but the owner, Claudio, personally brought out the corrected dish and took the time to apologize. Claudio even spent some time chatting with us, sharing the incredible history behind Renzo’s, which added such a personal touch to our visit. As a special treat, Claudio crafted us a European Old Fashioned—his take on a classic cocktail—since we mentioned being from Tennessee. It was a delightful twist that we absolutely loved! The combination of outstanding service, delicious food, and warm hospitality made for an unforgettable evening. Renzo’s is more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend.

Had dinner tonight. Nice greetings from hostess. Excellent service from our server. Offered recommendations and she knows that menu! My steak was cooked perfectly. Vegetable side and corn side were very nice. The experience was so pleasant, I needed to leave a review, which I rarely do. Great job Renzo’s.

We had a fantastic experience at Renzo’s in downtown St. Petersburg. With a great wine selection, expertly crafted cocktails, and personal attention from the owner, Claudio, certainly made a memorable outing. The “Mazcal Inti” sounds intriguing—perfect for tequila enthusiasts. One must try it!
