I am surprised by the quality of the food. It was so delicious, I enjoyed the flavors. The staff treated us well. Restaurant had karaoke/music at night. Plenty of parking , it's next to a plaza. I will be coming back as I am very pleased with the food!

I ordered the Mateo combo, and the grilled shrimp, chicken, and skirt steak were delicious, packed with bold flavors. The variety was impressive and satisfying. The lively atmosphere with loud music added a fun vibe, though it might not suit those seeking a quiet dining experience.

I particularly enjoyed the picadas, generous platters featuring pork ribs, steak, chicharrón, morcilla, fried yuca, and roasted potatoes. Despite being labeled for two, these portions are ample enough to satisfy a family of four.  Service: The staff was attentive and ensured our dining experience was pleasant. Excellent “carne a la llanera”! Just perfectly cooked, good recommendation by the server as to what temperature the steak should be ordered at. The “chicharrón con guacamole” appetizer is very good as well.

Loved the place and the food. I had the avocado stuffed shrimp which brought a lot and it was only an appetizer. For dessert I had the coconut ice cream. Everything was delicious.

This past week I went to Rancho Mateo a Colombian restaurant in Las Americas Shopping Center. At first glance, this place looked nice. Had colorful and fun decor all over and it was so beautiful to look at. The part where I and my family were sitting was particularly very noisy since they offered live music and it was so loud compared to other restaurants. I enjoy eating in peace preferably with not-so-loud music. So Eventually sat outside and the food came and it didn't take so much time. But honestly, the price of the food wasn’t the best to be worth 25 dollars. I probably won’t return since my waiter and my food weren’t the best and they should probably lower their prices.
