Had Valentine’s Day dinner here and was a bit disappointed. Took 20 minutes for our waiter to greet us. Consistently out of water the whole dinner. I don’t know why they don’t just give you a pitcher of water for your table. It literally makes it easier for everybody if that is done. Bolognese was 2/10 to be honest. Nice place and views but not great service or food.

Rooftops are a hard sell for Miamians. We love the view, we hate the elements. Actual rooftop weather is fleeting—about five minutes in January, if we’re being honest—unless you happen upon one of those few and far between places that offer a year-round option, one that’s covered and preferably air-conditioned. Enter La Terrazza, Fiola’s upstairs lounge, bar and restaurant that serves an Italian menu in a relaxed, al fresco setting. Head there on Sunday afternoon for a delightful jazz brunch—think a lively band playing to a packed (and air-conditioned!) rooftop, spritzes flowing and a Bloody Mary Cart doling out freshly made brunch cocktails on demand. Follow our lead and make yours a surf-and-turf with a skewer of bacon and shrimp. Unlike most brunches these days, this one is á la carte, allowing guests to choose from a selection of raw bar items, breakfast dishes and various types of pasta. You’ll want to ease into the experience with a refreshing Venetian Spritz and something from the raw bar menu: think a half-dozen Oysters with shallot and escabeche mignonette; Cobia Ceviche with leche de tigre, crispy chickpeas and red onions; and Hamachi Crudo with mandarin segments, red endives, shaved celery and cerignola olives. Silence the voice in your head telling you not to fill up on bread and dive into the warm, toasted Sullivan Bakery Loaf as soon as it hits the table. You won’t regret a single calorie, especially if you’re lucky enough to get yours with a side of caviar as we were. Look around you’ll see the Double-cut Bacon swinging on several tables and want to order your own clothesline of pork to share. Just do it. Brunch entrees run the gamut from light, like the Swordfish Milanese with fried egg on top to you’ll-need-a-post-meal-nap, including Fettuccine Carbonara, Lasagna and Eggplant Parmesan. The Panettone French Toast was an unexpected dish that could work both as an entree or a shareable dessert. It’s served with an orange blossom marmalade, pistachio zabaglione and Vermont maple syrup. Though if that doesn’t satisfy your sweet tooth, Fiola’s Grand Chocolate Cake will do it. The massive, $36 (!) slice features layers of Piemontese Gianduja ganache and hazelnut streusel and is served with a scoop of fior di latte gelato. Perhaps the most impressive thing about brunch is the massive outdoor kitchen built exclusively for La Terrazza. Servers aren’t running plates between Fiola and the rooftop so everything you’re getting upstairs is fresh, warm and meant to be enjoyed outdoors without any of the inconveniences of actually eating outside.

Worst experience I’ve had ever. I called to make a reservation 3 weeks before our 3rd year anniversary. I called the listed restaurant La terrezza roof top bar and grill and made a reservation for 7:30pm. The day prior to my reservation I got a reminder about the time and date. Perfectly fine until I get there, they tell me that someone bought out the entire rooftop bar and grill but never decided to bring this to my knowledge. According to them the phone number listed isn’t for the rooftop bar but for another restaurant that’s was unrelated to the spot I reserved. Terrible experience for a new customer to go through. Don’t bother !

Went to La terrazza 2 weeks ago for the first time, now I can’t stop coming back. The food and drinks are absolutely outstanding, along with a beautiful rooftop view and amazing vibes. Definitely recommend! 🤩😋

First-time visiting Saturday night. We had a great time! Our bartenders were Diego and Chris and they were amazing. We laughed and stayed until they closed. We had such a great time and will visit again! Highly recommend if you are in the area and want to grab a drink or some food! Diego made me one of the best cocktails I've ever had. Ask for him

Booked a reservation for the rooftop for a birthday dinner two weeks in advance. Got a call the day of reservation that the reservation had been canceled due to a private party. They only offered to move us inside. What a shame this is how this place treats its customers. Cancelling reservations to make money on a private party. They should have told their private party the rooftop is not available or cancelled the reservations much much earlier OR have offered something more for this inconvenience and disruptions of our plans. Not a way to do business. Stay away from this place. They may cancel on you as well. It’s not worth it. There are so many other places in Miami to choose from that treat their customers better. Good luck to this place to stay in business. I won’t be going back, referring customers, and actively telling this story In my community in the hopes others stay away too. Your private event is not worth this type of negative publicity. I’m sure others that got cancelled this night feel the same.
