We had our holiday party towards this year. It was nice that we had private room which made it much more intimate for our group. appetizers were very good excellent. First, they brought us a sample of the cuts of beef to choose from. The special cut had I that night was in Australian Wagyu fillet, which I decided to try. While it was taste, I did not find it much more flavorful than a regular fillet, just more fatty, as waygu steaks tend to be. Plus, at $129 for 8 ounce Australian filet, I found that regular tenderloin fillet to be just as tasty without being fatty and half the price. I like to try real waygu steaks from time to time. However, I have yet to be impressed by them. I’m not a fan of the fat. The servers like to call it heavily marbeled when actually means there is a lot of fat through and through the steak. My wife had ribeye, which was delicious. All of the sides were good. I had a cappuccino with my dessert. However, all they had was the very basic artificial sweeteners, which was a little disappointing. Overall, a nice experience with great service!

So, I went into Morton's Fort Lauderdale on 11/28/24 at 1:30 PM. Table 409/1 50028. First time at this particular location. I had a reservation for a party of two, but my guest missed their flight. I walked in, gave my name, and I told the young lady working the desk that would only be myself. She then proceeds to say, " Ok, you can sit in the bar area." I thought, really did she just say what I thought she said?! However, my reservation was not made for a bar area experience. It was for a dining room experience. I almost walked out, but I said, "I'm not gonna let her ruin my day." However, Edward and his two training assistance over in the bar area was there to save the day. They gave it their all to calm me down and made sure I enjoyed it. I did speak with a manager on site (but not the general manager) who was very polite and courteous enough to comp my drink and dessert. It's several days later, but I really have been feeling some kind of way about those young ladies at the register. One was Hispanic, and the other one who was on the phone listening to our conversation, was African American, tapped the Hispanic, waved her hand, and pointed to the bar area as well. I really felt humiliated. I pray no one else who walks into the establishment has to experience what I experienced on Thanksgiving. Those young ladies lack customer service 101 skills. At a high-end restaurant such as Morton's, the employees should know better and strive to do better. If I could rate Edward in the bar area, he would get 5 stars +.

Went for a nice dinner and had the best experience is a very long time. The food was exceptional, but most importantly Alfonso made it a great experience. The drinks were phenomenal, I have never experienced such great customer service, even though it was busy, the team anticipated guest needs and provided it within a time efficient manner, while providing top tier quality! Will definitely be back

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We recently hosted our company holiday dinner at Morton's Steakhouse in Fort Lauderdale, and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome and impeccable service. The ambiance was perfect for a festive gathering—elegant yet comfortable, making everyone feel at ease. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our group was well taken care of, with drinks and appetizers served promptly. As for the food, it was nothing short of exceptional. The steaks were cooked to perfection, tender and bursting with flavor, while the seafood options impressed even our pickiest eaters. Side dishes like the garlic mashed potatoes and creamed spinach were the perfect complements, and the desserts—especially the signature chocolate molten cake—were the cherry on top of an incredible meal. A huge thank you to the entire team at Morton's for making our holiday dinner so special. If you’re looking for a top-notch dining experience in Fort Lauderdale, I can’t recommend this place enough!

Morton's Ft Lauderdale manager after seeing my initial review took the initiative to contact me and assess what could be done to change my perception of Mortons. He took the time to listen and provide a very much appreciated resolution to what I thought would have been my last visit. We were offered a make up dinner last night and it was AMAZING. The fine dining experience Morton's is know for was executed exponentially better than my prior visits. Glad management is now aware and ensuring what happened to my dinner party will not happen to others. Their famous dessert was amazing a served to us the way it should always be served. Fully intact and delicious. Big Shout Out to Joanne our server, Best in Class Service: Attentive, Responsive, Friendly and very professional.

It was my first time here in Fort Lauderdale and my hotel was right across the street. I was in the mood for a delicious steak and decided to order the 8 Oz Filet Mignon. It did not disappoint! It was one of the best filet mignons I ever had!! I ordered it with bearnaise sauce and it was so delicious with the sauce on top of the steak. The bread was also very good as well and it was warm and filling. If you don’t feel like getting a side, the bread will act like a side and will fill you up. Afterwards I ordered the Banana Bread Pudding cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top for dessert. The most filling and richest dessert you will ever have!! So sweet and a perfect way to top off the dinner. I sat at the bar and Greta was my bartender/server. Shout out to Greta for her phenomenal service and making my first time at Morton’s a great experience!
