Food was pretty good. My veggies weren't very hot though. Service was also good. I ate at the bar. The ambience was incredible. Vert nice decor and a great location. I attended a book signing event there, and would definitely go back to try more food and drinks.

It may be unfair to rate the food, since I only had happy hour bar bites. For the price and variety, I was wholly satisfied. Nit-picks were my top slider bun was dry, the slider itself was exactly what I would expect a burger to be. The fried grouper bites tasted more like the fry oil than fish. The hot rib and cheese dip was the star for this visit. The staff were efficient and attentive. They seems to enjoy each other's company, so it it was less busy, I think they would have had time and inclination to be friendly with the customers. The bar area was packed and dining room was booked, so getting the level of service I experienced was amazing.

We went for Happy Hour on a Saturday. Arrived around 4, plenty of seating. When we left at 6, there was a line. Food was overall delicious. I wouldn't get the Bao bun again it was just ok. The hogfish slider was spectacular, getting that again for sure. Ceviche wasn't traditional but still good, shrimp was only slightly overcooked. We also got the swordfish special (not pictured) and it was phenomenal. Crème Brûlée was delicious - I usually prefer more custard and a more caramelized crust - but I still thoroughly enjoyed it and would get again. Drinks were good - ample wine list, nice selection of draft/craft beers and full liquor.

There has never been an occasion where I have not been beyond completely satisfied with the food, beverages, desserts. More importantly the elevated service and attention given to each patron is what I expect from a high end restaurant. The staff is always attentive but not overly attentive. More restaurants should strive for this kind of service and food! My husband and I will continue to enjoy our time together at this inviting and welcoming restaurant! Five Star cuisine and service that complements the hospitality given to the patrons and the incredible cuisine!

Food was good (mussels, stone crab, grouper/fries). Decent cocktails. Major disappointment was bait and switch pricing. Signboard on sidewalk indicated margarita $6, single well drink w/mixer $4. Menu inside indicated margarita $7, well drinks $5. Assumption was that I would automatically pay the higher prices. Only a couple of bucks, but why not get it right? My recommendation, post the menu outside and use the signboard inside. Would be a nice surprise.

Did not disappoint! Yummy berry expresso martini. And the crab stuffed grouper was delicious.

Exceptional service at every turn. Sabina is amazing and her staff guided by her enthusiasm, knowledge, and her attention to detail was truly exceptional. We were impressed. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. Sabina made us try everything on today's special menu from the stone crabs, fresh made fries, hog fish, grouper, desserts etc..along with the main menu that has exceptional seafood selections. The atmosphere was sophisticated yet casual and has a wonderful vibe. Our favorite new Safety Harbor Restaurant.

First time trying Water Oak Grill. We had my grandson with us and the staff was very accommodating. My son had the Hogfish sandwich, which he said was amazing and I had the Water Oak Salad. Food, staff and atmosphere were all great. Will definitely be back when in the area again
