Customer Review Summary
The Colorado Room is celebrated for its scratch-made bar food and versatile menu. Many reviews highlight the delicious Rocky Mountain Oysters, BBQ pork, and cheesesteak sliders, along with top-notch hand-cut fries. The atmosphere is laid-back, featuring local art, a sizable patio, and a heavy metal soundtrack that may not be for everyone. Customers appreciate the friendly and proactive staff, and the availability of board games adds to its charm. While experiences vary, with some dishes like the Poutine and Shitaki Sammy receiving praise, others like the overly dark Rocky Mountain Oysters and certain sliders received mixed reviews. Overall, it's regarded as a great spot to relax and enjoy food with a local vibe, though preferences may differ.

Hands down the best restaurant, bar food from scratch, in all of Colorado! Warms me heart the few times i’ve been. Pretty versatile menu. Something for everyone.

My daughter and I were looking for a place to eat in Fort Collins and she told me she found a place that sells Rocky Mountain Oysters. 🤔 I grew up around cattle and it caught my attention so the next time I come back in it will be for the Rocky Mountain Oysters and Breakfast Poutine. We got the meal deal with 2 Sammies and a side. I got the BBQ pork and Cheesesteak sliders and my daughter got the Pesto and the Steakhouse sliders. We both added the hand cut fries and we were very happy with our meals. The hand cut fries are top shelf and I am the Poutine made with these fries is top shelf from the orders we saw going out. There was a steady flow of people into the shop. They do have a big patio in the rear. They hang lots of local art up around the shop that is for sale. Great feel in a very laid back area of shops near the campus.

First visit. Some surprises (awesome service for a quasi-dive atmosphere). 2xSammy Deal with BBQ Pork and Cheese Steak Beef sliders and Eclair-Poutine was great. Reasonably priced (with $2 discount from the bar with the meal deal). Heavy metal soundtrack at lunch which may not be for everyone.

The staff were nice and very proactive. The food was pretty good as well, the place is a lot smaller than I what I expected, but that wasnt necedsarily a bad thing. They're a local restaurant that also advertises local events and groups. It'd be a good place to go to after a day at college to hang out with your friends. They've got board games too!

A nice pub-like bar and grill. You order and pay first, they bring to your table (they have 10-22). We had a garden salad, caprice slider, fries, and wings (their hottest sauce is flavorful and not overly spicy ... for me). Just under $30.

Been coming here for almost 10 years. Colorado Room has an awesome local vibe with great food and a laid-back atmosphere. The handcrafted tables add a unique touch, and the sliders are unreal—easily some of the best I’ve had. Their fries are top-notch too. Definitely a great spot to grab a bite and relax. 10/10!

My wife and I visited while on vacation. My poutine was fantastic my wife’s wings were good but very spicy to be the most mild sauce offered. The art on the walls is interesting and the staff are friendly. They have an excellent beer selection and plenty of board games. I will go back every time I’m in Fort Collins.

Some things aren't everyones cup of tea but overall this place has a great atmosphere and workers are great as well. The back side outdoor seating was great. The art everywhere is beautiful. Their fries are great and seasoned generously. The Rocky mountain oysters are not recommended since they where cooked very dark but maybe two of them. The cheese steak has stewed beef which i prefer seared steak and it has soft red peppers and i prefer real bell pepper so overall the texture wasnt pleasant in my opinion but like i said that's not my cup of tea but might be for someone else. The Poutine was great, i think ill choose a different meat next time and the gravy was a pork gravy, also not my favorite. Would be better with brown gravy in my opinion. My sister loved the shitaki sammy. She says it has a nice heat to it and the chicken tenders were cooked to perfection. Perfectly juicy and crunchy! Overall 4/10 recommend.
