This restaurant was amazing! The atmosphere is great and the food was even better! The steaks were cooked to perfection and with a perfect crust on the outside. Our waiter, Greg, recommended the cognac peppercorn sauce and it was absolutely amazing! We came here for my boyfriend’s birthday and we got a complimentary dessert. Their butter cake is to die for!!

Worst experience! 1.5 hours in with no entree. Never again. Not an upscale place. No drink menu as requested. Please note, it was not busy. Tables around us complaining of the quality of their meal. After nearly 2 hours, we requested our food to go. Lobster wayyyy overcooked. Very small portion sizes. Very disappointed considering this was a $300 meal for 2 people. No apologies or explanation what so ever.

My husband took me out to dinner here for my 50th birthday and everything was perfect! The ambience is exactly what he was looking for. Quiet, not crowded, and dark, but not too dark. The food was delicious and Richard, our server was fantastic! All of the staff was incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and will definitely be back!

Absolutely disgraceful! My wife and I decided on this place for our Wedding anniversary 11 years. Shown in the picture was the $130 seafood Tower that we received. Yet we didn't complain a single time, focusing on our Anniversary. Then my wife and I both ordered prime rib the service took extremely long! Given we we're enjoying a bottle of wine and were in absolutely no rush. Finally we were both given colder than room temperature prime rib. Whoever I spoke to about it, gave many excuses for how hard it is to keep prime rib all day at exact temperatures. Well I hate to explain this to you but there are many restaurants capable of doing exactly that, serving your patrons and well-paying customers cold prime rib at a Steakhouse is unheard of. My wife and I asked for both prime ribs to be replaced with our specified internal temperature and for it to Please be fresh+Hot. what was brought to us was 2 microwaved gray pieces of prime rib! No kidding! (Sonny Lubick's microwaved our two Prime ribs) Very first time making reservations there to eat and absolutely it will be the last. All respect was lost for Sonny Lubick's Steakhouse.

Easily our favorite steakhouse in Fort Collins. We went for our anniversary last year and the experience was amazing. We were hesitant at first as we walked down the stairs and all of that melted away as we went inside. The decor and vibe are very upscale. Feels like a place you should dress up a bit for and that’s what we were hoping for. We had a large but cozy corner booth. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The drink menu was expansive and reasonably priced. I had a couple bourbons and the misses had a mocktail. We shared a Caesar salad and a French onion soup. Both were great. I had a 16oz ribeye and the wife had the prime rib. Both were the perfect temperature and seasoned well. They comped a Creme brûlée for our anniversary and we had a couple after dinner drinks, a chocolate martini and an espresso. Start to finish the whole experience was great. Can’t wait to go back again next time we are in town. Don’t skip this one!

We went to Sonny’s last night for our anniversary. Very disappointing, our experience certainly did not meet standards that we have grown to expect from this restaurant. Our waitress never reviewed the specials, although we heard the neighboring tables receive the information on specials. We had to wait for a very extended time to receive our entrees. The waitress never offered an answer explanation on why the delay, just mumbling ‘thanks for your patience’ when we were finally served. I ordered prime rib medium rare and it was served rare. For the price, my wife’s salmon was relatively small in size and hidden when served with a strange looking deep fried ‘something or another’ on top of the salmon. When we arrived we were asked if we were there for something special and we shared it was our anniversary. Since they asked, we were assuming we might get complimentary dessert. Nope. Don’t know why they bother to ask. The quality is just not there. They need to step up their game….very disappointing to spend the money we did and all we got was a facade of a once wonderful restaurant.

We came here for our anniversary, and everything was absolutely amazing. Every staff member was super friendly and made the night special for us. Food was outstanding and menu had so many options but wasn’t too overwhelming. We can’t wait to come back for our next special event. They also have a great happy hour! Brianna was our server and she did an excellent job.

We love staying in Old Town while in Ft Collins. That makes Sonny Lubick's a quick walk from our hotel. While their entire menu is fantastic, we've found that their appetizers/small plates are outstanding. We ordered 4 of them to share, French onion soup, and a lovely cocktail from the full bar. The bison tartar...OMG. 🦬 ♥️
