Very interesting place for dinner. Our waitress Tonya was great! The food was good, it took us back home. We did need to add salt and pepper otherwise the food was good. The prices were good too.

Great place to eat, very friendly. No pushy or overbearing. Absolutely recommended this place. When I asked for lemons, she brought me a plate full. No one has ever done this for me, a giant thank you.

I have to say this place quite literally saved my life. I came in for brunch very hungover from the night before. Kelly our server was the absolute best. It’s been a while since I have had great service. The breakfast was delish, and the steak was so tender and cooked perfectly.

This place is a gem!! You can tell everyone working here likes/respects their job/customers. It’s very clean. Food was great - steak was amazing! Atmosphere is very steakhouse cozy - nostalgic and extremely well-kept. Our server was Megan - she did a amazing job. Had very yummy wine! We will definitely be back!

If you’re on a trip and you really want steak from beef country Loveland, Colorado has the best place. Charcoal broiler It is authentic with hand cut juicy cooked to perfection steaks time and time again whether you like it rare medium rare medium well it’s just plain good service is amazing. The waitress is friendly and very good about making you feel special like It’s a hometown feel you’re part of the family comfortable inviting quiet environment open since the late 50s one of the cooks has cooked here for more than 50 years experience is everything when it comes to the authenticity of the food taste and flavor original homemade french fries draft hand craft beer well drinks happy hour 3 to 6 family run. downright comfortable, relaxing, satisfying and inviting atmosphere. definitely double stars all the way through.

Ordered a chicken melt. Mushrooms and onions were still cold from being already cooked, soggy and in the fridge. The chicken was warm but chewy. The bread was soft, not even grilled as a patty melt normally is. Salad is always too big of pieces to eat and they give you the dullest knife to try to cut it with. Cherry pie was good but has the thinnest crust ever. Not overly sweet which was nice. Husband had chicken fried chicken. It looked good. Bill for two with waters was $67. Quite abit of money for a late lunch with only water to drink. I always hope it will be great, but sadly I am always disappointed.

Charco Broiler used to be one of my favorite steak houses. It was not pretentious; it was just about steak. That was one good thing I could always count on at the Charco Broiler. It has been over a year, and we decided to head back for a good steak. Boy, was I surprised! It was so disheartening. My filet mignon was this little round thin piece of meat that lacked flavor and juices. Without the good steaks it was hard to ignore all the other issues with Charco Broiler that may have always existed, but I never really paid attention to. First off, the presentation of food is pretty bad. For garnish we ended up with a slice of pineapple. Weird, just weird. And my steak didn’t come with any sides or nothing. I actually made reservations for dinner by calling in earlier in the day. I was put on a long hold, as if maybe reservations are no longer needed. When we arrived, we sat in the front area with the booths, which I thought for dinner we would be seated in the back dining area. Then there was the awful vintage rock music that was playing. Something that is not good for digestion or to set the mood for a good dinner. It was just weird. Then, we got the check. There is this fee that they are charging for the kitchen staff!! I guess their kitchen staff is now paid in tips instead of a decent paycheck. Crazy! I won’t be back. I’m putting this option out to pasture!
