Customer Review Summary
Kona Grill in Denver has received positive reviews for its great location in Cherry Creek and ample parking options. Many diners praised the 'Taste of Kona' menu, highlighting its excellent value for a three-course meal with wine for $39. The quality of food received high marks, particularly for dishes like the wagyu steak, fillet, and various sushi rolls, especially the sunset roll. Service has been a standout aspect, with servers like DJ and Nadia recognized for their helpful suggestions and attentiveness. However, there was a negative experience regarding the Christmas menu, where the prime rib was not satisfactory, and another patron received a poor-quality surf & turf dish. Overall, guests recommend the restaurant for its enjoyable atmosphere, friendly staff, and substantial portion sizes, with a particular nod to dessert options like the carrot cake.

I am a big fan of Kona Grill! The location in Cherry Creek is perfect if you are already at the mall but they also have plenty of parking (& valet) available. I’ve come multiple times for the ‘Taste of Kona’ menu which is an AMAZING value. This is a 3-course meal that includes a glass of wine or bubbles for only $39! I usually order the salad and steak option and then the cheesecake for dessert. Talk about an amazing value! Kona Grill is great for a date night or girl’s night out!

Ate here for the first time and it was amazing from the food to the service. Our service was DJ and he was fabulous. He made some great recommendations on food and drinks. He made the experience wonderful. The food was amazing my boyfriend got the wagyu steak with the lobster roll. The steak was cooked great. I got the 6oz fillet and that was also really good it came with miso mashed potatoes and green beans. For dessert we had the chocolate lava cake and that was a good way to end the meal. I'd go back and I'd definitely have DJ as my server again.

Nadia was amazing! It was our first time visiting and she was so acknowledging and informative about the menu and drink menu as well. I will definitely be recommending this place to family and will be coming back. So far one of my new favorite spots. Thank you Nadia!

We did the all you can eat sushi and there truly wasn’t a roll we tried that we didn’t like! Generally I’m not very explorative with sushi but this spot has my trust as a go to spot for great variety. The sunset roll has my heart forever as the best roll of my choice, we got that twice. The one they set on fire was delicious too! We got a booth which was spacious and had DJ as a server. He was awesome, kind, and communicative. The environment was not packed or overly loud and we ate around 700 pm. All six of us left very happy and have it on our list to return! Parking option vary depending on the day. I did street parking but didn’t pay because it was Sunday.

My partner and I enjoyed dining with Sydney and Ali (the manager) for our anniversary dinner. Sydney was so sweet and offered great suggestions! The food was delicious and the seasonal drinks are amazing! We will definitely be back, next time with our kids for happy hour

I just had an amazing dining experience thanks to our wonderful waiter, Nadia! From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. Nadia was incredibly attentive, ensuring our drinks were always full and checking in on us at just the right moments. Her recommendations were spot on; she suggested the special of the day, which turned out to be one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Nadia's knowledge of the menu and her genuine enthusiasm for the food really enhanced our experience. Overall, her friendly demeanor and excellent service made our visit truly memorable. I can't wait to come back and hope to have Nadia as our server again! Highly recommend!

(don't be impressed with their reply with an email, they don't reply 😂😂😂) Don't.. Let.. Kona... Ruin your Christmas lol my god. When they said the least done they could do on their Christmas prime rib was medium I knew we were in trouble, my mom ordered anyway sure enough we got what didn't even look like prime rib... Literally a cut of meat displayed for its rareness. They had no ice tea... Whatever, but it just took them 10 minutes to tell us (and it was 1130am so was barely a few tables sat.) I got the surf & turf ribeye with shrimp. What came out were the smallest baby shrimp ever (put a fry next to it for reference) and the most aggressive steak jerkey ever (despite ordering that medium rare) fortunately when the server saw that my steak was harder than a holiday fruit cake, they took $30 off the bill, but still meant I spent $19 (its $49) on 5 baby shrimp & a steak I couldn't finish without breaking a tooth. Plus they called it grilled shrimp... This was shrimp cocktail with pepper on top. this was probably the worst meal I've had in ages and the fact that it was on Christmas despite so many other options was depressing.

Went here for a family outing. I can count how many times I’ve gone here, so this was nice. I ordered the KG burger, it came with fries. It was really good! Very well done. My youngest had Mac n cheese, but is autistic. The server was made aware and tried to help as much as he could - my son was not interested in his meal. We sufficed with French fries from my own plate. Our servers name was Roberto. He was kind, listened well and was attentive. I recommend this place because the servers and managers were awesome! Lastly, their carrot cake was ENORMOUS. One slice is all you need for about a part of four to six.
