About Carne RiNo - steak house in Denver, Colorado
Customer Review Summary
Carne RiNo offers an impressive dining experience with delicious food and cocktails made with local spirits. Highlights include the lamb, brownie, Caesar salad, and exquisite cauliflower dish, though some dishes had minor preparation issues. The meat courses, especially the sausage and steak, received high praise for their flavors, while the ribs were enjoyed but not as much as the other dishes. The atmosphere is described as cool and welcoming, featuring stunning interior design, antique decor, and a friendly staff. However, some patrons experienced service delays, particularly during busy times, which affected their overall experience. Despite this, many are eager to return to try more menu items, including brunch offerings and craft cocktails from the upstairs lounge. Overall, Carne RiNo is regarded as one of the best dining spots in the RiNo area, with a recommendation to explore the wine "library" for a unique experience.

Love love love. So happy Denver is stepping up its food game always. Food was incredible. Everything we got was top notch! Also loved the cocktails made with local spirits - well blended and balanced. Get the lamb, the brownie, and the Caesar salad!

Went in to celebrate my birthday and had a great time. Service was friendly and the place looked nice. Interesting cocktails; I enjoyed mine but can't recall much specific about it. The big drink option was something called "table side martini," which we did not try, despite the intriguing name The cauliflower dish was exquisite, with an interesting mix of flavors. The potatoes were cut a little unevenly, so the thicker pieces were a tad undercooked. Someone in the kitchen doing prep might need a bit more practice with their knifework, or maybe to try using a mandolin. The meat dishes were, as I would expect from a place called Carne, perfectly done. The sausage and steak dish came with a green sauce that was good enough to eat by the spoonful. Big fan. The ribs had a great char and a brighter and more viscous green chile sauce, that, while delicious, wasn't quite as good as the other one. Sadly, that's all we tried, as we ran out of room. They brought me a birthday creme brulee with a few tart pieces of citrus embedded in the crust. I'm lactose intolerant, so I generally try to avoid things with that much cream... I instead ate the whole thing and considered licking the ramekin afterward. No regrets.

Carne RiNo was absolutely amazing! The interior design is stunning and creates such a welcoming atmosphere. Olivia was beyond fantastic—her knowledge of the menu helped us choose a delicious meal, and her warm personality made the experience even better. Everything was flawless, and I genuinely have no complaints. This is hands down one of the best dining spots in RiNo!

Really cool atmosphere with lots of antique swag throughout! Only ended up doing some apps, which were all fine but nothing special. Will have to come back and actually try the steaks!

Was very excited to try this relatively new establishment. I was impressed with the overall vibe and atmosphere in what was the previously occupied IL Posto space. Ok...so now to the food. Nothing was groundbreaking or blew my mind but the quality was overall very good. ** Service .. this is where my real gripe or negative feedback comes in. I had this reservation for 2 weeks and had made a specific note that it was my anniversary. Upon arriving we waiting a short bit before being greeted at the host. The host was very pleasant and then promptly seated us. From there we waited 20+ minutes before anyone acknowledged us. It was very clear that our server was under water as we watched her scrambling to service the tables to either side of us. Eventually we spoke with the host and the manager came to assist us with our drink and food orders. In the end we were reassigned a new server who we met after most of our food and drinks had been expedited. I understand that on any give night a server can get behind and I don't fault them for that. A couple of takeaways.... 1-It should have been recognized sooner and we should have been serviced sooner. 2-The overall service plan by Carne is flawed. They are responsible for far too much which compromises their ability to provide quality customer service. From Drinks, Table Side Martini service, expediting, & bussing tables... On the fence if we will come back based on overall quality and value.

I absolutely love the newest rendition “Carne” from the owner of work and class. This laid back 70’s style cocktail and steak lounge is wonderful. Very relaxing vibes, are supported by amazing craft cocktails, appetizers and top notch food offerings. The staff is professional, but fun. They also offer an amazing brunch. Great smash burger and fries for happy hour. If you want a craft cocktail, stop by and enjoy 74 lounge upstairs.

It was my first time coming in tonight. The staff are so friendly. I had dinner alone and sat at the bar. Both bartenders were amazing even though it was extremely busy! Wish I caught both of their names. The food is delicious and came out fast!! I had the risotto and the polenta. Absolutely amazing! Creme Brulee for dessert was excellent! I also had two glasses of wine and an espresso martini. Although I didn't have steak, this was perfect for me as I wanted to try something I never had before. The wine selection on the menu is perfect as I get overwhelmed if a restaurant has a large wine selection on the menu. Can't wait to come back soon and try more menu items. Definitely will be bringing my friends to this place!

We had a beautiful experience, my mom and dad, my girlfriend and I, went to celebrate my mom's birthday. We got there just as Happy hour was ending, had a couple cocktails off that menu, which were fabulous! My parents were there late because of an accident on the highway and the server was still able to accommodate them with the happy hour cocktails and pricing even though they missed the time window. All the food was delicious and presented pleasingly. The staff did a fantastic job of accounting for my girlfriend's celiac. My favorite part was the wine "library", if you're doing a bottle of wine you get to go pick it from the shelves in the front of the restaurant. The whole experience was amazing and I would definitely recommend coming for dinner. Can't wait to go back and try more things!
