The service, ambiance, food was all impeccable. We dined here on Christmas Eve and Shauna was our server. She knew all of the wines, checked on on us frequently, presented our dishes in a timely manner and was extremely knowledgeable with the menu. She was friendly, professional and overall outstanding. The wine was the best wine I’ve ever tasted — and I am extremely picky with wine after living in Italy and studying wine. The meat and scalloped potatoes were cooked to perfection. The chef and back of house also did an exceptional job. The decorations made the restaurant feel so homey and cozy for Christmas Eve. I will absolutely dine here again for special occasions. Thank you!

So my husband and I wanted to come celebrate the before new year because I have a procedure at the hospital on New Year’s Eve and I wanted a steak.. we’ve been to several steak restaurants so 801 was on my list. The ambiance is beautiful of course 801 is in the heart of Cherry creek off 1st and connected to the elaborate mall. Our reservations were at 4:30 we got there at 4:38 and were seated right away! Our seating was so intimate and nice with the Christmas decorations so pretty. Our waitress Shantell was really nice and professional and she explained all the cuts of meat and the history behind the Wagyu beef etc. We eventually ordered our meals. To the dinner: we both ordered Caesar salads which were fresh and delicious!! I don’t like anchovies so my husband took mine and he said how delicious they were - oh and don’t let me forget about the warm, amazing bread and butter!!! It was perfect for my salad and Coke !!! My husband ordered prime rib, I ordered the New York 14oz and we both split the asparagus and al gratin potatoes. So how was it? It was ok. The steak could have had more flavor for the price of $68 and more heat! The potatoes should be titled Crunchy cheese potatoes because the topping of crumbled cheese/breading had our potatoes dried out. I think with the steak what would compliment it if you are going to have algratin potatoes- make sure they are made with love - thin layered potatoes with amazing cheeses and Alfredo sauce, creamy and hot when served, to help the presentation as well. The asparagus weren’t bad they had a little butter taste as well. For the price of $230 it should have caused me to want more! However it allowed me the opportunity to experience the steak and yet I don’t crave to come back but….. but that dang on bread and my Caesar salad was the BOMB.COM!!!!! Delicious!!! Our server made sure we had enough water and beverages and she was very pleasant so that did help the experience. Off to the next steak restaurant and check it off the list to say it’s nice but love needs to be in the potatoes!!!

Received a gift card for 801 Chophouse. We dressed very nice. Located in a higher end mall. Enough that we Uber'ed there so we didn't have to deal with valet parking. Very enjoyable date night. We had Lamb Chops, and some awesome Scalloped Potatoes that were out of this world. Reminded me of some upscale spots in Chicago that we used to haunt. Highly recommend this joint.

801 Chophouse delivers an exceptional fine-dining experience, perfect for special occasions or a luxurious night out. The atmosphere is sophisticated, with classic steakhouse decor and attentive, professional service. Their menu features premium cuts of steak cooked to perfection, alongside an impressive selection of seafood, sides, and a well-curated wine list. Though on the pricier side, the quality and attention to detail justify the cost. It’s a top-tier choice for steak and an unforgettable dining experience.

Classic high end steakhouse, my favorite in Colorado. Had a $45 whiskey flight that has some $600 bottle stuff in it. Pretty good deal. Australian waygu is delicious and perfectly cooked. Best au poivre sauce ive had. Highly recommend the chocolate souffle for desert. Great service.

My wife and I had an incredible dining experience! The restaurant’s ambiance is perfect – low lighting, soft music, and a wonderful aroma. The free valet parking was a nice touch. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, with the medium being incredibly tender. The entire meal was fantastic, from the delicious meatballs and mussels to the rich cheesecake. The presentation of every dish was stunning. We can’t wait to return and try more of the menu!

A litte bit too long to wait for the food come out , before the main star is Steak, you have to go to through appetizers and the other dishes, coz of that your stomach gonna get full , so not really be able to enjoy the Star ⭐️ , I love the atmosphere tho.
