Location: Okay, Parking: Where you can find it, Service: Okay, Presentation: Okay, lunch specials: yes, Overall: First time at this location and for being a lunchtime it seemed easy to get a seat. My guest wanted to try this place with eager anticipation. I had. A hope that it could be better than my previous experience. When they said they only gave Military Discounts in November, I thought that was pretty sad. Now, the one drink I enjoy is an Arnold Palmer (unsweetened ice tea with lemonade) . The balance reduces the sugar and is a wonderful blend. But here they double the sugar by adding sweetened tea, which was just a bit much. Now, for the meal, I did enjoy the tri tip cuts. The ribs seemed a bit overdone. My guest was not happy with any of her meals, which was kind of a letdown . Would I go back? At this point, the only way would be by pressed by another. There are other places that are a step up to be enjoyed. So for this meal... 2.8 Stars...

Came in for dinner and was greeted with lots of cheer. I had their Southern Fried Chicken dinner with a few great cocktails. Staff here is chill with a smile, and caters to you with 100% genuine southern hospitality. Enjoy!

This is the 5th and last time I'm ever eating here, LUCILLES BBQ IN WEST COVINA SUCKS! I've given them at least 3 chances and every order except my very first one was a waste of my money. Today's meal from them on black Friday was terrible. I'm now going to have to call the health department on them because they put an old dirty bbq sauce lid that was melted in the center on top of the tri tip I ordered. They also gave me four little slices of brisket, no napkins, no spoon, no mop sauce that was part of the tri tip. I finished the meal still hungry, next time I'll just spend my time and money on a bbq that is worth it and won't be a huge disappointment and loss of money. Look at the photos I posted, I took that photo as soon as i opened my plate. They are the same photo, one is just zoomed in more. The other two are of the dirty lid they contaminated my food with. That's how they gave me my meal with a dirty bbq sauce lid directly on the food and sauce spilled throughout the plate, the lid looked like it was old and reused because it was melted in the center.

I haven’t been to this Lucille’s location in about a year. First off, I called and was able to get reservations which made the experience so much nicer than waiting to get a table. Our server was so patient, friendly and kind. Our food was absolutely delicious, as well as our drinks and dessert. Would definitely come back.

I ordered take out. My order was over $100. When in arrived at the time my order was supposed to be ready, they hadn't even started my order. It was about 23 minutes late. I opened to check order - my $31 tiny container with tri tip had burnt meat and other pieces were full of fat. The brisket was almost half fat. I've included a photo. The meat that was not fat or burnt was good.

The mash potatoes were tasty. The brisket wasn't very tender but the St. Louis ribs were good and the pork belly was flavourful. Honestly for the price of 70 bucks it was a waste of money since half of the meal was thrown away. I won't be ordering or recommending Luciles again.

Our waiters were Julio(who was very charming and precise) and Anthony(who made sure everything was just perfect and kept coming) they both were amazing servers and we had over 40 people here. Please Give Julio and Antonio a raise because they deserve everything! So personable and caring throughout our time here. They really made our night!!
