Found a staple under my chicken. I suggest using tape for packaging purposes instead of staples to prevent this.. The food and staff are great! It was just an unfortunate accident but a very serious one, knowing people of all ages eat at this establishment. What made you think it was okay for you as a professional business to post my personal information and send ur manager into my place of work to harass me about my review?! You did not handle this right. I will be pressing charges if you continue to spam my email and come into my place of work and I will post the screenshots of those emails as another review. Delete my personal information in ur response, or I will take legal action.

Meals were subpar. Loco moco meat and sauce were tasteless. We requested over easy eggs and they were completely fried thru and flattened. Garlic shrimp was tasty but smothered in like 16oz of minced garlic. Mac was decent and fried rice wasn't so bad but it seemed to have been reheated more than once as it had a dry texture but oily outside. Not sure I'd go back.

It is a nice Hawaiian BBQ establishment. I used to come here, at the beginning of this year, to have my lunches. I would, usually, dine-in. Therefore, during the lunch period, there was ample of space, to sit down, and enjoy the meal. The place, too, was tidy. The meals, definitely, were delicious, and I do not understand the complaints from other reviewers. At the same time, the service was excellent. Of course, I cannot forget to mention, that prices were also fair. So, if anyone is in West Covina, I would recommend to stop by this establishment.

I love it here. Prices are pretty good for the portion size. My husband always gets the barbecue mix and I usually get a katsu meal/ mini depending on how I’m feeling.. Mac salad is some of the best around and food is always ready very fast..

First off, service was good. I was greeted when I came in and my order was taken promptly. The food didn’t take long to be ready either that was a plus. However, I did not love the food. I ordered the chicken teriyaki and the chicken was very rubbery in texture. The macaroni was lacking as well. I was not happy with the quality of the food.

The worker was nice and the place was clean but me and my fiancé got combo plates, he got chicken & katsu and I got beef & katsu and we couldn’t finish it. We took 6 bites and left. It was not good. The only thing that was decent was the rice. The Mac was sour, the chicken was rubbery and the beef was rubbery and fatty too. We were disappointed since we were excited to eat Hawaiian bbq.

It is a nice Hawaiian BBQ establishment, conveniently located across the street from Eastland Center in West Covina. I have visited this establishment, several times, at the beginning of 2024. I would come here, during my lunch breaks, and have my lunches, from time to time. The meals were well made. At the same time, the lines were not long, or non-existent. Furthermore, there was ample of space, to sit down, and enjoy a meal. In addition, the staff were helpful, and attentive. Of course, I cannot forget to mention that the prices, too, were not on the expensive side. So, if anyone is in West Covina and Covina area, I would recommend to stop by this restaurant. The prices and delicious meals are worth the visit.

I lived in Hawaii for 4 years and although I can't say that this takes me back, it was delicious and some of the best Hawaiian food I've had here on the mainland (at least fast food plate lunch style eats). We got the BBQ mix plate and all the meats were tender and flavorful. And I absolutely loved the Mac salad. We also got the spam musubi and chicken musubi. Both weren't exactly what I was expecting but good nonetheless.
