Customer Review Summary
Scratch is praised for its beautiful and delicious food, attentive service, and modern decor. Popular dishes include Ahi Poke Bites, Little Gem Lettuce Salad, and Cider Glazed Pork Chop. Brunch offerings, including biscuits and fried calamari, are well received, with the restaurant being comfortably uncrowded. The service is often described as friendly and efficient, with highlights such as deviled eggs, Brussels sprouts, and the Northern Halibut. Some items, like duck potstickers, receive high marks, while others, like a dry lobster roll, were disappointing. The rotisserie chicken and dessert, particularly the sundae, are also recommended. While some dishes, like the scallops, are tasty, portions can be small. Parking is ample, and the restaurant is clean with excellent accessible facilities. Overall, Scratch is considered a solid choice for celebrations and casual dining, with strong potential for repeat visits.

Excellent restaurant with beautiful and tasty food, attentive service, and a modern decor. We had Ahi Poke Bites (loved the crisp nori chips), Little Gem Lettuce Salad w/ Salmon, Cider Glazed Pork Chop.

Brunch is delicious. You can order a la carte items or any of the items from the brunch menu. I love the biscuits and the fried calamari. The place doesn't get that crowded.

Service was great, food was fantastic. Visited Scratch for a birthday dinner and excited to go back. Deviled eggs and Brussels sprouts are must dos. Highly recommend! For being a Saturday, we were shocked at how slow it was.

They have indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside and it was breezy at times, so we asked them to turn on the heat lamp, which they were happy to do. Our server was very friendly and good. We had fresh fruit, which was good but the Northern Halibut was really good and it came with silky potatoes and wilted spinach. We would order the Halibut again!

We came here for a birthday dinner. Some things, especially the duck potstickers, were really great. The lobster roll was dry which was disappointing.

Delicious and juicy food. Celebrated a birthday and staff were very professional and friendly. The date appetizer was so good and worth getting! The rotisserie chicken was grilled very well and not dry at all. Dessert is always the best part and the sundae not only had macadamia nuts inside the brownie but also powdered macadamia nuts in the ice cream. This is a great place to go for a celebration dinner.

Offered a drink at bar when I entered, bartender friendly, helpful, which is nice. $8 excellent pour of cold Hefeweizen beer. I ordered scallops and they were tasty but there were only 3-4 of them. They were on a slice of pork belly which was 98% inedible fat with 1/2 of a bite was edible yummy pork. Smelled good. That's it, there are no other parts of the scallops dinner. Scallop dinner was the size of an appetizer, but very tasty. I saw the fried chicken looked like a meal sized dinner, smelled good. Lots of parking in back. Restaurant well lit. Restrooms cleaned and well stocked. Disabled restroom HUGE clean, excellent handicapped restroom, one of the best I've ever seen.

We ordered the Crab Cake Brioche and Fried Chicken & Waffle. The Crab Cake Brioche was very good; the crab cake was very tasty, the egg poached perfectly, and the brioche underneath rich and fluffy but nicely toasted. I just wish there were two instead of one. As for the Fried Chicken & Waffle, the cornmeal waffles are made with yeast and were delicious -- light, crispy, fluffy. The fried chicken was somewhat disappointing though. It was still juicy but some pieces were under seasoned while others were too salty. I also prefer a crispier crust and the pieces we got were a tad salty. Overall, a solid eat and definitely worth more visits in the future.
