Relaxed, lodge-chic chain serving global comfort fare, including stir-fries, pot roast & pastas.

Customer Review Summary

Overall, Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar offers solid food with well-executed dishes and great service. The Crispy Devil Eggs received positive remarks for their crunch and flavor. Ribs were tender but lacked the expected spiciness, while the Umami Fries were praised for their crispy texture and savory taste. The Pot Roast Beef Hot Sandwich was moist and flavorful but could benefit from better bread. There are sizable portions and a diverse menu, including tasty appetizers like loaded hush puppies. The atmosphere is casual but can feel more suited for groups rather than intimate settings. Beer and cocktails are appreciated, along with good service. However, some dishes were criticized for being bland or poorly prepared, such as certain sandwiches and steaks. Takeout options also impressed for their deliciousness and labeling convenience. Overall, while experiences vary, many diners find the food enjoyable, with standout offerings and a vibrant setting.

Overall the food was solid, well executed. We came around 5:45 on Sunday, not very busy. Service was great, staffed checked in on us regularly. We ordered the Crispy Devil Eggs as an appetizer and the Ribs + Umami Fries and Pot Roast Beef Hot Sandwich with a sesame ginger mixed green salad (+$5.50) as our entrées. Crispy Devil Eggs (4/5) The egg whites were lightly battered and fried, giving them a delicate crunch. They were filled with a creamy, flavorful egg yolk mixture. It also came with a salad that was not listed on the menu. The salad dressing was very flavorful. I liked it more than my salad with sesame ginger sauce. Ribs + Umami Fries: Sweet and Spicy Korean Gochugaru (4/5) The ribs were exceptionally tender and fell right off the bone. However, the sauce was more sweet with no spicy. It was a bit of a let down was I was hoping for a bit of heat. (3/5) The umami fries is really good! The texture was amazing, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The fries were very savory, they weren't kidding when they named it "Umami Fries". It was also lightly topped with a sauce, but I liked the fries more on its own. (5/5) It also came with a Peanut Sesame Coleslaw, which was lightly dressed, not super wet which I liked. Tho, I wish the coleslaw was served separately or in bowl, as it made some of the fries soggy. (3.5/5) Hot sandwich: Pot roast beef dip + sesame ginger mixed green salad The beef was lean, very moist, good beef flavor, good amount of salt. The dip was great, light, not overly fatty, yet packed with flavor. Horseradish was a nice touch to the sandwich. The bread seems like it was toast without butter. If it was toasted with butter or garlic butter the dish would be elevated to the next level. But if you like that beef flavor, this is a solid beef sandwich! (3.5/5) I also added the sesame ginger salad for an additional $5. The vinaigrette had a pleasant tang, but the sesame flavor was quite subtle and could have been more pronounced.

Went here for a team dinner and the food option is massive. We ordered a bunch of apps to share. My favorite was the loaded hush puppies. I got a tex mex salad which was good and the portion was big. Service was quick and plenty of space inside. Would also be a good place to watch a game or two.

Lazy dog is open till fairly late, so when all the bars that we were trying to get into had closed, we decided to go here as a couple of my friends are already been here. The bar is huge and there are a lot of seating areas. The decor is pretty rustic, but still given the size and the location. I got a little bit of industrial and chain vibes from it. Like probably this is a good place to come with your friends or co-workers, but I probably wouldn’t come here with a date. In fact, most of the customers seemed to be actually co-workers who probably worked in the tech companies in Cupertino and were there for a team get together. We got couple of beers, which were pretty good. I also got a cocktail, which again was pretty strong and tasted really good. We weren’t very hungry, so we just ordered some fries and queso with chips, and the queso, particularly was very good.. the service was nice, and the lady serving us was very sweet. Overall, this is a good bar, but it wouldn’t be one of the bars that you would remember.

Chicken pot pie looked great so we got o w to share. It was pretty big. We just had to add salt and pepper because it was lacking a little flavor. The kids gobbled up the chicken Alfredo. Then we ate all the desserts. Banana pudding was super tasty. I also ordered the maple bacon bourbon which was a little too sweet but that didn’t stop me from drinking it all up. Fried deviled eggs were interesting but I would get them again.

Lazy Dog was really cool! Got off work and wanted to try a beer spot I've never been to. The food was really good and the beer is cool as well. They have beer from a company from Wyoming. I have family in Wyoming, so it was a cool experience. Definitely felt like a lazy dog after the food and beer...

We got take out on a Saturday night, including a chicken doggy meal for our pup's birthday. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the BBQ Bison meatloaf, and my wife had the Sweet & Sticky ribs. Food was delivered hot and on time. This is the first place I've gotten take out from that will actually label each meal for you. Very handy. We'll be back

It was mid, to say the least. The sandwich bread was toasted to the point you could barely bite it. Literally hard to the touch. Fruits and chili were good. Sandwich had the vision but the bread really ruined it.

My boyfriend, daughter and I unfortunately didn’t enjoy our food at all. Our steaks were unseasoned and mine was very dry. Not much tasted good. The server was very friendly and the manager made sure we didn’t pay for the steak. I wish I had liked the food. The atmosphere was wonderful.
