10 Butchers Korean BBQ

Went there because I heard them for a very long time. Their meat was fresh at the service was pretty good. I definitely felt like they were trying very hard to give us service to get tips and they are not very attentive. The environment was very cute and very modern. I liked their display of cocktail by the door when you walked in. I think overall consider their price. It’s a little bit overrated. Also, they didn’t provide us a bag when we asked for a box for takeout. It’s not a big deal, but consider their price tag. I would say their service was not OK.

The food was delicious. Maybe even more so because we waited so long to finally get seated. Be prepared for a bit of a wait. The side dishes were good and the meat was great. This is a spot where they do the cooking for you. The bibimbap and japchae is good too. The vibe was nice and service was on point.

Amongst one of the best Korean BBQ restaurants in the bay area. Been here multiple times. Service is top notch ( waiters will cook the meat but they seem to shift around based on our pace of eating which makes sense ), meat quality also seemed top notch. I always reserved before I came here. Price is on the higher end as well.

Overall, 10 butchers BBQ is a great Korean BBQ place. We ordered marinated bone in short rib, beef tongue, seafood and wagyu tofu soup. The food was very yum. The short rib was not as tender as I expected, but it was full of flavors. We really enjoyed the food. The only negative is that the waitress seemed to rush into cooking. We did not have time to slowly enjoy the meal. We spent over $100 per person and finished within an hour. Not sure it was common for lunch.

My wife and I just got done writing a review but we didn’t send you guys pictures of our unbelievable experience at your fine dining restaurant and we wanted to share it with you. Once again, thank you for making our lunch simply remarkable. You have customers for life and our waiter was simply wonderful.

Total Score: 8.25 Bathroom: 4.5/5 Classic contemporary bathroom. Nothing to complain about really. At least it was clean! Customer Service: 4.5/5 The waiter cooked. Refilled waters. And noticed when we wanted to continue cooking the very last of the meat on the bone so helped us with that LOL. Ambiance: 4.25/5 Very contemporary. Nice touch with the butchers chain sign. I’m wondering where all the smoke goes cuz there weren’t any vents though. Sus amogus Food: 4.75/5 Food was soooo juicy and goodddd. The marinated pork was the best. Ugh and the apps were great too. Drinks - 5: Hawaiian Martini is probably my favorite drink there! All of the drinks I've tried are absolutely delicious and don't let the looks or name fool ya - they come with a kicker. Service - 5: They cook the meat for you! So nice to eat in peace instead of having to cook for the table. They're also good at portioning out the food for a bigger party for all fairness. This place does get packed so if you can make a reservation early, do. We went on a Saturday around 1pm expecting a long wait but were seated right away so it's a hit or miss! Good to go with the expectation of a wait and be pleasantly surprised.
