The Social

If I could rate the service a negative stars I would. I’ve never had such an uncomfortable dinning experience in my 32 years of life. As soon as we walked in the hostess made us feel unwelcome. When our food came, my friend asked for some parmesan and the waitress (middle aged brunette woman with brown eyes) walked away rolling her eyes and mocking my friend not realizing that I had noticed. As far as the food goes, it was pretty mediocre.

Always a pleasure to dine at The Social. Very friendly and courteous and the food is awesome. We always come back for special occasions. Love the variety of their martini's....Delicious!!!!

I really enjoyed my time at the Social. I had no idea the restaurant was this good if it were not for the reviews I read on here. The outside sign of the restaurant does not make it seem like a fine dine restaurant and always made we avoid wanting to try this restaurant. I’m glad I overcame the front entrance because the interior of the restaurant is much more charming and welcoming. We had an excellent waitress who gave us great recommendations. The food tasted really good and we were even convinced to try the desert as well. I will be coming back in the further to try more items on the menu.

The starter bread with spread is so good, lobster bisque is very tasty, fillet mignon was good (their roasted potato side is awesome), rack of lamb is also tender and tasty (but the rice side is just ok). My only concern is that when you Google the place, you’re expecting fine dining and that’s what I went there for. Unfortunately the restaurant doesn’t look representative enough to be called fine dining place. The food quality is there to be in the fine dining level, but the presentation can be improved. Also Google suggest $20-30 per person in the description which entirely inaccurate. The entree itself mostly above $30 already. But for me who was expecting fine dining experience, I’m very satisfied with the food quality, service, the price

Saturday anniversary dinner. Shrimp cocktail had 4 large, delicious shrimp. Duck breast with port wine reduction was so good. Lobster tail was perfect, said hubby. They even brought us a dessert for our anniversary! Saw many beautiful martinis, as well!

I had a first time great experience. We went there for our anniversary. My wife got the osso buco/veal and I got the rack of lamb. Our meals were delicious. The service was awesome. If you love a Martini, they have about 80 different types. I wish I knew about this place 14 years ago.

Best food we have had in a long time. Visiting from put of town picked this location for our 26th. Did not disappoint. Lamb was fabulous and lobster bisque was best we have had in 16 years! Wait staff was knowledgeable and experienced. Super friendly atmosphere. When we come to the area to visit our Son (CalArts) we will make sure we stop at the Social for a meal!

UPDATE: Thank you to the owner for reaching out and addressing the behavior of these disrespectful privledged racist women. Ive left the pictures attached because I feel this community deseves to know who these people really are. Delicious food, normally a great atmosphere, but yesterday afternoon our family was harassed while having dinner. There was a table of 3 couples, and the women clearly had too much to drink. Two of their husbands just walked out when the hateful, drunk women started acting up. They were belligerent, rude, hateful & disgusting. They started screaming and cursing at a child for laughing too loud. They were overly served, clearly intoxicated, and just needlessly mean and confrontational. I am very disappointed that the staff didn't do more to address the situation but rather continued to serve them more alcohol. One of the ladies actually followed us out and continued to harass us. If anyone knows these women, I hope they are embarrassed as they should be ashamed of themselves. Their behavior was uncalled for and unacceptable.
