MALL FOOD! Who would have thought I would have the best Philly cheese steak that I have had in years, here? OK. Just look at the pictures below; see what I mean? The photos, alone, show you just how much you missed. The meat was tasty and well-seasoned, the vegetables cooked perfectly, and the cheese, well, it was good, too. The fresh lettuce put on at my request, and fresh sliced tomatoes, were cold and very fresh! Wonderful! Better than In N Out. If anything, the weak point was the bread roll. See in one photo the sandwich is "open" to the camera? Well, that's because it broke open--it couldn't hold the contents of the sandwich. The chef should know better than to choose a sandwich roll with this kind of tooth, when it really needs a toothier bread roll. Anyway, the sandwich still tasted great. The reason I knocked off one star is the price of the sandwich. Buying for myself, with a drink and fries, I spent nearly $20.00 for lunch--ouch! But . . . I have to say, I don't regret it. It's up to you to decide whether you think this enjoyment is affordable for you.

The worst service ever! I don't know where you found the guy behind the counter, but he was rude and arrogant. He didn'tdid not want to be bothered with doing his job. Peppers and onions were raw. No tray to carry my food.

I love coming here. Not only is the food fresh and great but the employees are even better. For my birthday, they not only gave me a drink for free. I paid for a second drink and for the change they gave dollar of good luck Made my day 100x better 🫶🏽

I absolutely love the food here. Each cheese steak is made fresh when you order and customized to your liking. It always comes out hot, fresh and delicious. The fries are pretty good too. Definitely worth a try to see what you like. Not too pricey either, which is a big plus!

Really very good Philly cheese steak sandwich. We had two, one with everything and the second, original style. Grilled onions, grilled tomatoes, grilled steak, and melted provolone. This was a modification they hadn't seen before but they created deelishiousness!!!!

Easily one of the best spots here in salinas, ive lived here most of my life and i get tired of eating tacos or stuff like mcdonalds etc whenever i eat out. But if you want a truly good meal for a great value charleys is on another level.
