Land Ocean Restaurant Roseville

I came for brunch 1st and was so impressed that I came back with my brother for his birthday dinner. The food and ambiance is beautiful and fabulous. I had the creme brûlée French toast with a side of bacon, my husband had the chicken and Belgian waffles. He and I loved every bite. The bacon has a Smokey flavor that is unmatched. Then when we came back for dinner, we had the calamari, filet mignon and shrimp. Hands down one of my new favorite places.Definitely recommend and definitely coming back.

I always order my favorite dish, the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl, which is amazing. The desserts and cocktails are also top-notch. I think this is the best place in Roseville. Loved the Happy Hour, everything was so tasty! Excellent service too! Very relaxing and not noisy even though we were in the bar! Convenient after shopping at Macy's! Even though they were super small bites, we really enjoyed the Ahi Tuna Tacos. So crispy with a lovely peanut sauce. My favorite was the little beef Wellington's and my husband really loved the French fries! I had a pomegranate orange martini and he had a pale ale.

Steak was prepare as requested, I enjoyed the steak with the mushrooms and mash potatoes sides adding to the bite favor combination. Asparagus was also cook to the exact tenderness I like.

While looking up places to eat by the mall, this place popped up and I'm glad it did. We didn't make a reservation and the wait we were quoted was 2hrs. We had shopping to do so we put our names in. The actual wait time was about 90 minutes when we received the text that our table was ready. Not bad for a party of 7 with no reservation. The pictures of the food and menu looked very appealing and didn't disappoint. The shrimp cocktail had large shrimp that were fresh. Old shrimp tends to get mushy and these were not. The fried calamari were crispy. The Ribeye steak was a generous portion and was prepared cowboy style with onion strings. It was seasoned well and medium as requested. Our server was very attentive and answered all of our questions about preparations since two in our party had peanut allergies. He was very enthusiastic and recommended some entrees for the indecisive ones in our party. He definitely added to the great dining experience.

I had 2 appetizers, the grilled artichokes and the crabcakes. Both were delicious and definitely generous portion sizes. My husband had the lobster bites and blackened salmon, and pronounced them both delicious. We shared the creme brulee for dessert, and it was lovely. They have a good wine list, too. Service was exceptional throughout the meal. Definitely recommend, and we will return.
