Absolutely love High Steaks. Great ambience. Super friendly staff. Michelle was our waitress and she was very attentive. It’s a very romantic and relaxing restaurant. Food is always amazing. If you’re looking for an upscale, classy place this is it. They have a full spacious bar as well.

First timer. First of all, didn’t expect how good this place was and even more amazed we were able to walk in for a table as well. I have to say this restaurant, both their staffs and food were great. The only thing was their surf and turf cost $175.00, didn’t know prior nor was told until seeing the bill after. Overall a great dinner.

Food and service was amazing! Highly recommend. The creamed spinach was too die for. The steaks were made perfectly. Wasn't a fan of the Mac n cheese though. Our server brought us a sample of gazpacho that was out of this world. If I could have ordered a bowl I would have.

It was our 1st time eating here, though we visited Thunder Valley Casino numerous times. Our reservation was at 6:30 and we arrived at that time. We were seated promptly in which we appreciated. We did take about 15 minutes to decide on drinks and food as we wanted to go over our choices and decide what we wanted. Our server was pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere was.....dreary. The lighting was low, and there were very few people in the establishment. We were seated at a table that was small, and one chair was within the aisle, and the other seat was booth style. There were other options that were better suited for 2 people, but oh well. We ordered around 6:45, for my wife, short ribs, for myself, Wagyu burger (well done), meatballs, a side of Brussel sprouts, and a side of mushrooms. Our order was now placed, so we waited...7pm, still waiting...7:15pm, still waiting...7:25pm, still waiting. However, our waitress at this time informes us our food will be out shortly, they're plating it now. 7:28pm our food was served. We ate the meatballs, which were very tasty and well prepared. My wife said the short ribs were delicious. As I prepared to eat my burger, ordered well done, my wife commented on the Brussel sprouts, possibly not being done. I cut my burger in half as it was quited large, and then noticed the pink meat within. I informed the server, and she returned it to be re-cooked. I tasted the Brussel sprouts, and indeed they were still hard, only charred on the outside. I tasted the mushrooms, and the sauce used (which tasted like sesame) was so overpowering, we couldn't eat them. After about 10 minutes the server returned with my burger, at which time I informed her about the Brussel sprouts, she removed them from the table. I recut my burger and unfortunately, the meat on the inside was still pink, while the outside was just more charred. At this point, we were done. We asked for a box for the food, and explained that after the recook, the burger was still medium well. The manager, Shawn, did come and speak with us and issue an apology, as well as offer other items (which we declined). I explained that at this point, I would take the burger home and cook it myself. There is no hard feelings, though we heard so many high remarks for High Steaks, and it's always packed, it just was an ominous experience. I have pictured our full meal, my burger as it arrived, and my burger cut and after they had recooked it (still some pink). We are unsure if we will eat there again, but hopefully it was just some fluke, X-File occurrence.

Our reservation was at 5pm, we arrived at 4:50pm and were seated right away. We received menus, a variety bowl of delicious breads and glasses of ice water. The drink menu is separate and has many options. While waiting for our drinks we were served a complementary goat cheese sprinkled with bacon bits from the chef. The taste was good, the texture is that of tofu. As a vegetarian, I thought my food options would be limited. I ordered the “fork and knife’s Caesar salad which does include white anchovies so I did request those be excluded. The Brussel sprouts are AMAZING. The macaroni and cheese could be better, I was looking forward to it because it has gouda cheese. The creamy spinach reminds me of creamy corn. For me, it’s too much cream or maybe overcooked spinach. The gold Yukon pureed potatoes are delicious also, especially paired with the Brussel sprouts. The half chicken is said to be very delicious due to the flavor, fall off the bone meat, and great presentation. It looked really delicious. I would highly recommend trying any of the shareables because they’re fantastic. The service is great, the food is amazing, and there is plenty of parking in the parking garage.

Always delicious. We used to eat here about once a month, but now on come on special occasions. Service and style remain the same. The seafood platter appetizer is a lot more expensive than I remember. I think I used to pay about 40 gor it, now it's $78. Service is always impeccable and friendly. I just realized there is outdoor seating and would love to do that. I quit smoking in 2019, and the walk into the restaurant is like walking through a forest fire. An outdoor entrance would be amazing.

Tuesday night dinner. Our server and server assistant were both great. She was very knowledgeable and professional without hiding her lovely personality her assistant was prompt in filling our waters and clearing plates. The food was ok. It was not terrible it was bland. We had the short rib, the seas bass special, the fried chicken, and the half baked chicken. I think next time I will be sure to ask for the food to be well seasoned. They get an extra star for the gluten-free dinner rolls and the amazing desserts. 👏
