Wow, the complete meal around the table was subpar at best. Baked potato at 5pm must have been from lunch or Wednesday dinner not fresh.. New York steak tough ,salmon not the best ,ribs were good but mashed potato were cold. My filet was fine ,half bowl of salad for five people. Server was very nice but forgetting to much, no backup. I like the theme of the restaurant but it smells really old ,like old bar carpet. It was very dangerous driving in and out of the restaurant onto Taylor Road at night . .

It brings back memories thinking about when Cattlemens first opened its doors back in 1976, and my parents took us there for a family dinner. In the early 2000s when I moved back to the area, and Cattlemens was still one of the standout steakhouses around. I love going there even now because it feels like stepping back in time to those good old days. Nothing much has changed—the menu is still packed with favorites, the rustic charm is as welcoming as ever, and the service is consistently excellent. The steaks? Always tender, cooked just the way I like them, with sides that are generous. It's always a fun dining experience!

It’s been years since I’d been to a Cattlemens and I forgot how good they are. LOTS of food - with perhaps just a little too much focus on quantity over quality. I really enjoyed my NY strip but a couple of others at the table thought their dinners were just OK. The service was superb. We had a very friendly and attentive waiter who checked on us often. I wish I’d gotten his name. It was a Saturday early evening and the place was packed so it was a bit of a challenge moving around. But I suppose that speaks to the Cattlemens popularity!

I have never been to a better restaurant! We were from Reno and one of the waiters I stopped on the way out I asked if they had another recommendation for food in the area and he said here take this table in the bar area. It was a 2 hour wait! Daughter was starving after playing volleyball all day! He was amazing! Not going to name names but he knows who he is! Thank you! We will be back best service ever!

Cattlemens is awesome. We loved our steaks. Cowboy bone-in ribeye w/garlic fries $43 and a sizzling prime rib $38. They both had good flavor. The roasted artichoke $10 was only so so. The entrees comes with all you can eat salad, potato and bread. However, we did not receive our beans. Trinity, our server, did a great job. Our food came out fast and she checked on us often. This is a good Cattlemens location.

Ordered the filet. Perfectly prepared to my requested temperature. Every bite was delicious. Service was great for our large group. The staff move about at a dizzying pace, yet always friendly, and ready to help. The atmosphere was lively. This is a come as you are dining experience. Leave your tie and tuxedo at home, but be sure to bring your friends, family, and appetite. You won't be disappointed.

It's absolutely amazing. When we arrived we were told it would be about 30 min. We were sat within 5 min. Our waiter was amazing and very helpful. The food was top-notch as usual. I would definitely recommend it.

Food was fantastic. Our server was very kind but definitely seemed newer to the server position. Wait time to be seated was quoted to be over an hour but if there are seats in the bar area, those are considered to be open seating so I highly recommend checking the bar area if wait time is long. Sourdough bread is delicious!
