Arrived here as we were heading to a sushi spot and switch it up and ended up at the tenderloin, from the outside you don’t expect to see such a big location inside. Food was good, the mushroom appetizer was not that great it needed herbs and butter they were bland. The onion rings on the other hand were very tasty, batter was different than other onion rings I have had, I liked these the best. Everything else that came after was good. The portions are perfect! Not too big and not too small but just enough, it’s reminded me of being at sizzlers. This location serves beer and wine only. Home made peach cobbler and blackberry cobbler with ice cream that was pretty good. This location is right next to Stater Bros and you don’t expect a steak dinner place to be next to a Market but here we were having a nice dinner 💕 $21.99 for a steak, bread, baked potato and a salad 👍🏼

Went for late lunch. Ordered steak and ribs both nice and tender. Very attentive staff. Nice country- ish vibes and background music.

I have taken family and friends to this restaurant. I purchased gift certificates for birthday gifts as well. I hope you and your guests enjoy it as much as we do. The best place to eat in the city of La Verne, near the Stater Bros store. I enjoyed the tenderloin for two persons with my friend. The salad is fresh, a baked potato with toppings, and garlic bread. If you have room for dessert, try the pie a la mode(scoop of ice cream).

Got there when it opened 12 noon. My Patty melt was cooked so that the crust on the burger was like cardboard. My wife's steak looked more like a hunk of roast beef than a steak and was cold in the middle. Had to get up to find someone to tell them. Sent it back. Thought it took quite a long time for the replacement and it was just as bad and way over cooked for medium rare. Salads were good and baked potatoes were wonderful. Our friend had fried chicken which she enjoyed. Not many people for lunch so food should have been better. We used to really like the place in it's old location. Sadly we will not be returning.

You can never fail by going to this time honored, beloved, family steakhouse! It has only has won the "Best Steakhouse in La Verne" award 4 years running!! It's a no brained! You want a great steak cooked perfectly? Then this is the place to go.

This place used to be good at the old location when last night the steak taste like it was old waiter never came back once food got there he also never brought extra condiments we asked for. Also didn’t give us any refills. Won’t be going back paid 100 bucks for poor service and poor quality of food.

This place is just ok. The appetizer sampler was not good. The fried zucchini tasted like they were fried with fish. The onion rings have way too much batter on them. I got the Ortega steak which was flavorless. I had to add a lot of salt and pepper. I ordered my baked potato with everything and it came dry. My husband ordered the New York strip steak and that was very good. But he burned his hand on the metal plate it was served on. My son ordered the chicken strips and he did not like them. We came on a Friday night at 8:30 and there were a lot of tables available. The restaurant has a retro coffee shop feel to it which I liked. Dim lights and cushion booth seating made the restaurant feel cozy. The atmosphere of the restaurant was all I really liked. We will not be back here again.

This place is delicious! The speciality steak is absolutely amazing! We keep coming back from Chino Hills when we get a craving for some great meat and potatoes!
