Customer Review Summary
Coco Palm Restaurant is praised for its fine dining and special occasion atmosphere. It offers a great variety of Cuban dishes and beautiful city views. While past experiences have been consistently good, recent visits noted inconsistent service and food quality, with some disappointment in specific dishes like chicharrón. Complimentary items were not provided during one visit, and service felt rushed despite the restaurant being less busy. The restaurant is ideal for large parties and events, with a lovely venue for weddings, but some guests reported rude service during events. The drinks and desserts, particularly flan, received positive remarks, although some found the flan's texture lacking. Overall, the restaurant is recommended for its friendly staff, delicious food, and vibrant atmosphere, despite some criticisms on service efficiency and consistency. Valet parking is required at a fee of $8.

I've been to this restaurant several times and always recommend it for a fine dining experience, especially when celebrating a special occasion. So, it was an easy choice for my manager’s 25th work anniversary. Typically, complimentary beans and bread are provided upon seating, but that wasn’t the case this time. I had to request them during our meal. We opted for the chicharrón with yucca, but unfortunately, the quality wasn’t up to the standard I’ve experienced on previous visits. My manager was especially excited to see it on the menu but ended up disappointed. On the bright side, the drinks were excellent, and the flan was absolutely delicious. We dined on a Thursday night when the restaurant wasn’t very busy, yet the service still felt rushed. I’m hoping for a better experience on my next visit, as this place has always been a favorite.

This Cuban restaurant is located off the 10 Fwy off the Fairplex Dr. Full sized bar. Valet parking only, @ $8. Also hosts wedding ceremonies & receptions. Growing up in SGV, I've been to Coco Palm's plenty of times and have been satisfied with every visit. We made reservations as we celebrated my mother-in-law's birthday this Saturday and had an amazing dining experience. Because we were a large party of 19, we were given a limited menu. We chose the 'Silver Prix-Fize Menu' @ $42/person, which is a 3 course meal service. I had their 'Ropa Vieja', which is shredded beef flank simmered in bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes served with rice & beans, accompanied by a 'Strawberry Mojito'. For dessert, I had their 'Flan Cubano'. Everything tasted very good with fresh ingredients. Service was amazing. Every single staff member we encountered was friendly, starting with the hostess. Shout out to our server, Eddie, who was extremely attentive and helpful with the menu. He made our dinner experience an excellent one as he engaged with our family. He definitely made my mother-in-law's birthday special. Overall, it's always a great time at Coco Palm's with its beautiful views of the city.

Was here for my friends wedding. The place is a nice venue for a wedding. She had her wedding ceremony and reception at the same location. Ceremony took place on the outside terrace, and reception took place inside. The rental of the place came with all of the chairs tables, food, servers, and valet parking employees. Decorations not included. Parking is available, but it's not free. All the guests had to pay $8.00 for valet parking, which has to be paid in cash. You are not allowed to park your own car, even if the parking spots are only a few steps away. The biggest downside for me was the staff. They were rude and very aggressive. When the food started coming to the table, our salads were practically tossed at us. The guy serving our table seemed like he really didn't want to be there. Also, it felt like we had to eat everything pretty fast because they started coming around collecting our salad plates before we were done. We had a bit more time to finish our main course, but the staff would snatch up your plate if you were caught off guard even if you were still working on your meal. When it came time for the toast, they brought us cider or champagne, but we really didn't even get time to finish our drinks before the staff collected our glasses! There was a lady that would come around to take everything from our table without asking even if we were still enjoying the food. She took our food, coffee, cake and our drinks. I loved the place, loved the food, but hated the service. If you want your guests to take a lasting impression of your event. Maybe look for other options, or maybe try to get the cheapest deal since the service is really bad. Wouldn't recommend this place to any of my friends.

My husband had driven by and seen this last year when in Pomona for work and decided to try it out this year. It was such a nice restaurant, with valet, but I was treated so nicely even though I was unprepared & underdressed (jeans & a hoodie sweatshirt). The staff was so nice. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Havana meets Madrid at Coco Palm ✨ Cuban food is considered a fusion of Spanish, “Taino” Native American, African and Caribbean food. And, they have such a diverse selection. The decor is stunning!! It’s a gorgeous venue on a beautiful hilltop. It’s a great place for a date, girls brunch or get-together with friends and family! We had a reservation for Saturday afternoon and we were seated fairly quickly. We came for the All-You-Can-Eat Brunch Buffet, which has a variety of dishes like Ceviche salad, shrimp, crab legs, black beans and rice, bacon and sausage, scrambled eggs, plantains, yucca, paella, and more. The hot dish standouts for me were Lechon Asado, Impossible Picadillo and Prime Rib. I wish that some of the hot dishes were more hot, like the paella. Some dishes were better than others. They had a variety of desserts. My favorite was the flan, which had the perfect firm but creamy texture and not overly sweet. The caramel sauce was perfect. AYCE Brunch Buffet Saturday & Sunday 10am - 3pm $46.99 adults $21.99 children (5-10 yrs old) children 4 yrs and younger FREE Reservations are required The buffet is a little pricey. The staff were friendly. Note: they only have valet parking $8

I had such a great time with my girls (mom and aunt) we had dinner on a Friday night and it was a lovely dinner. Food, drinks and vibe of the restaurant was perfect. I love their lechón and sangrias. Our server was very nice also.

First time here and I was so impressed! Lilly was our server and was fast and efficient. She recommended great options. She was so lovely and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the salmon while my aunt ordered the lechón. Both were extraordinary but her lechón was so scrumptious! The table next to us had paella which looked absolutely great so have to try that next time! We ordered the ham croquetas for our appetizer which were also delicious. The flan was pretty basic and was not as creamy or “custardy” as I expected it but that’s alright, the rest of the meal and service were spectacular.
