Aloha Steakhouse

We went to Aloha Steakhouse in Ventura looking for a place to eat some fresh cooked fish. We were not disappointed by our dinner choice for date night. The interior design of the restaurant was well designed. They have seating indoor & outside seating, with a nice bar area to grab a drink, while you wait for a table. The service was very good and we were able to get a booth with a reservation. The staff was very friendly and our waiter was kind and attentive. We really enjoyed the salmon and halibut. My wife got the salmon with the house salad and it was very refreshing. I tried the halibut, which was the daily fish special. I got it prepared with the Parmesan crust. The fish was delicious and very satisfying. They also do parking validation. The next time we come try some of the steak options!

The service staff here is exceptional—super kind, diligent, and respectful. The food is good, with reasonable portion sizes (not exaggerated big), and the ambiance is lovely, especially being close to the Ventura pier. A great spot to visit!

I love this restaurant and the evolution of the menu. As a vegan that comes with others to dine its always nice to have a few vegan options. The service is always great and the atmosphere is fun and professional. Make sure to get there for sunset if you can.

Hostess either ignored my request or misunderstood me. Left a bad taste in my mouth. The wait staff more than made up for that. Food was amazing! Had an amazing rib eye! The salad is so hearty and tasty! Everything was so very well prepared! I love the atmosphere here! But yeah, the hostesses (at least the one I had) need to learn to appreciate their customers.

I was truly touched by Brian’s excellent service. It had been such a long time since my last visit to the U.S., and I felt a bit overwhelmed on my first day, but his attentive and professional service made me feel so comfortable. I really appreciated how he carefully listened to customers' requests and served with such care. I would love to visit again next time!

Great place for a quick dine-in lunch. Our waitress got us seated and food orders taken within a couple minutes of arrival during weekday lunch hours. I had the craft burger which had a decent sized patty and was very tasty. My co-worker enjoyed fish and chips and our colleague had the blackened halibut with coconut rice, and both left satisfied. Our server was also very courteous and friendly. Will definitely visit again next time work takes us to Ventura!

We've been visiting Aloha for at least 15 years - their menu and service are excellent. Everything from shrimp to burgers to salads to filet mignon and lobster, there's something for everyone. Great cocktails, ocean view, nice upscale coastal decor - it's a favorite for date nights and special occasions in our home! We recently held my son's wedding rehearsal dinner in their sunroom and it was over-the-top amazing. Service, food, drinks, our custom menu....
