Texas Roadhouse

Texas Roadhouse is one of the pillars of steak dining in the states (you all know what the other one is, and sadly I live too far from any Longhorns to include them). Every visit is always a blast, though the wait times can be a bit daunting. A personal favorite is always the full slab of ribs, this time I went with the salmon though (to my disappointment, more on that later). They always bring you some sweet bread baked in store with cinnamon butter to spread, and will bring you more if you ask nicely. The classic blooming onion (called a Cactus Blossom here) comes with plenty of dipping sauce and is always fried to perfection; it's hard to not want a second one before the main entrees come out! Now... The salmon. Unfortunately most places I visit always make it very dry or crunchy or both; this was no exception. I like my salmon a tiny bit raw and very tender (the same way a steak should be!), so I will have to suggest you steer away from that entree unless you like it that way. Or perhaps next time I'll ask for it medium rare? Will update if that happens! The sides were still wonderful and of course the steak is always cooked and seasoned very well. My friend grabbed another lemonade flavor and had zero complaints.

Super busy, tasty food, much better than I had expected. The warm rolls with whipped cinnamon butter are so good! Pro tip: ask for rolls before you leave and they'll bring them warm in a bag to take home. Very friendly staff. Loud and energetic atmosphere.

“Definitely come and enjoy their food “ I would recommend doing the online wait list ( I did it and had to wait one hour ) drove and followed the instructions in less than 2 mins we where inside sitting down . Gianna was our host and she was pleasant and kind . Our server was Jeremiah and he was spectacular! We enjoyed him and he gave us a lot of recommendations. We both got steak 🥩 and the sides and the appetizers were all delicious! The bread 🍞 and cinnamon butter 🧈 is out of this world 🌍 We got pretty full early because all the portions were large. We had lot of food left over . I got a lemonade and that was cold and refreshing. I came on a date night with my love and it was crowed and fun inside ! They had music playing and it was definitely kid friendly! I cannot wait to come back ! Everyone was kind and welcoming! Parking is large and easy! We enjoyed our time together! Come and Thank me later !

My experience here at Texas Roadhouse was amazing! Definitely has to be the best steak spot I know. I personally got the rib eye steak prepared medium with loaded mashed potatoes and some Mac and cheese and it was delicious. Everything about the meal was amazing including the nice soft bread they serve in the beginning is just the perfect way to start the meal! The whole atmosphere here was excellent, I love how chill it felt and it was a very nice time to enjoy a nice premium dinner. Overall, I’d highly recommend it here to anyone around Oceanside or even just passing by, it’s an amazing spot to go and enjoy a delicious high quality meal. I’d definitely be coming back again soon!

1st time visiting but it surely won't be the last. Excellent across the board, delicious & plentiful. The steak is cooked to perfection, yummy mashed potatoes & veggies. Plenty of parking. Only thing I would suggest is, probably a bigger selection on dessert🤔

We arrived early to avoid the Friday dinner crowd & were happy to be seated within minutes. We were there to celebrate a birthday. If you want, you can personally select the steak on your way into the restaurant. They allowed us to share meals, even cutting the steaks & separating the meals onto separate plates, if we desired, with no additional costs. The steaks were cooked perfectly & sides were adequately sized to share. Staff was very nice & brought out their special birthday horse sawhorse to sing their birthday song to the birthday boy.

Texas Roadhouse has a great kids menu that has plenty of food for kids to enjoy and be full. The grilled chicken that we got for her was so good that she ate all of it and left very little even though she normally eats a few bites and throws the rest. I am very pleased with this place. As always I hope your experience here is even better than mine and this is once again a certified Cpl Lopez review.
