Customer Review Summary

333 Pacific offers a mixed dining experience with a range of opinions. Some reviews highlight decent food but feel it's overpriced for what you receive. The atmosphere and service received average ratings, with sentiment pointing towards friendly yet sometimes slow service. Others praised specific dishes like the New York strip and lobster tails for being well-prepared, though there were complaints about issues with steak cooking. A few reviewers noted the warm and inviting ambiance, making it suitable for special occasions. However, service inconsistencies, such as wait times and food mix-ups, led to disappointments for some guests. Overall, it’s described as a place with potential that may not consistently meet higher expectations, especially for its price point. While some would return for a casual meal or view, others may seek better value elsewhere in Oceanside.

⭐ 3/5 – Decent but Overpriced for What You Get 333 Pacific is a decent restaurant located inside a hotel in Oceanside. It offers good food, but the quality doesn’t match the price tag. 🍽️ The Food: 3/5 The food is fine, but it doesn’t stand out in any way. It’s decent, but for the price, I expected a little more. It’s not bad by any means, but I wouldn’t consider it a place for an exceptional meal. 🛎️ The Service: 3/5 The service is friendly, but the pacing can be a bit slow. The staff is polite, but there’s room for improvement when it comes to efficiency. 🏡 The Atmosphere: 3/5 The atmosphere is standard hotel restaurant, with nothing particularly special. It’s fine for a meal, but it doesn’t offer any unique ambiance or vibe. 💰 The Verdict: Decent, But Not Worth the Price ✅ Good location – convenient if staying at the hotel ✅ Solid food – but not worth the price ✅ Friendly service – though sometimes slow ❌ No standout views or ambiance Would I come back? Not likely. It’s fine for a casual meal, but there are better options in Oceanside that offer more value for your money.

My recent visit to 333 Pacific was nothing short of amazing! I ordered the New York strip, and it was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, flavorful, and expertly prepared. The service was top-notch, with the staff being incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, which really enhanced the entire experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with just the right balance of sophistication and comfort, making it perfect for both special occasions and a nice night out. The attention to detail, from the presentation of the food to the excellent service, truly sets this restaurant apart. If you’re looking for exceptional food, outstanding service, and a memorable dining experience, 333 Pacific is a must-visit.

I recently visited 333 Pacific with my grandma for lunch, and we had a fantastic time! After our meal, she exclaimed, "I think this is going to be one of my new favorite spots! Food is great and the view is incredible!" I enjoyed the fish and chips lunch special paired with a delicious virgin piña colada, while my grandma savored the Blackened Skuna Bay Salmon—both were so yummy! Our waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful, adding to the delightful atmosphere. Overall, it was a truly enjoyable experience, and we can't wait to go back! Highly recommend!🌟

I cannot believe i have not given this place a review. It has been a while since I last visited. It was the perfect place to stop off for happy hour with my amazing daughter before sending he back off to school.

Celebrated a birthday here, we had ocean view seats during the sunset, the food was very good and a very nice wine selection! Noise levels was medium, due to the amount of people and music from nearby surf festival which was fine for my sister and I but if you were on a date and wanted it to be more quiet and intimate it wouldn’t have been ideal. Our server was fantastic, and the bus boys as well. Overall, highly recommend!

We went here with friends for a nice dinner after sunset on the beach on a fun vacation trip. We were looking for a high end dinner to finish out our trip. Some of the food is really good, and other items we tried were okay They have no idea how to cook a steak. I ordered a 12oz filet minion medium well. When our food came out, my steak was blue rare. I had to track the waiter down and send it back. When it came back, it was rare just going to medium rare. The manager came and asked about it after I sent it back and promised to “take care of us” when he saw how it came out the second time still wrong. Absolutely nothing was done to make it right. The server was not really interested in taking care of our table and always seemed to be put out when he came to our table. This was from the time we were seated, not just after me sending my steak back. For the price I was wholly unimpressed with the quality and the service. The location is fabulous and the views are very nice.

For starters, we had a complimentary warm bun with whipped butter with herbs. I wish they gave us more while we waited for the main course, which took a while. For appetizers we had a 333 salad and calamari, all gorgeous. For the main course we had salmon with gnocchi and spinach and tuna with lentils and artichokes. The food was gorgeous. The wine was delicious. It all came down to $160. We were full early on and asked for a box. The nice looking waiter took the food to the kitchen to get it packed. When I paid, the waiter wished for us to return, and I asked where’s our food. He returned saying they are making another one, so we waited some more. When he gave us the bag he said “there’s more food than before”. You have to see that I barely touched the tuna, I was so full by the time it arrived, so I was looking forward to trying it later that night. My companion was full too, and put half of their salmon in the box as well. Now they tell us they lost the box, and fair enough we agreed to wait for a new dish, but saying we got more food when we clearly got less, also less time and no apology? I took a pic of the original dish and it clearly had 8 pieces. The replacement box had 7. Initially I ate 2, and a spoonful of lentils, is the supposedly extra spoonful of lentils the more food? I would’ve been happy with two complimentary pieces of bread, if anyone only offered to please us throughout all the waiting, but the comment just made me want to take the tip back, which I didn’t even do because they presented well otherwise. The food was gorgeous, but on the expensive side, considering the feature - the view, was long gone as it was after sunset. Server saying we got more food after we waited, and actually got less, was not cool. Most likely I won’t come back.

Wife and I live part time in Oceanside. For her birthday this year we wanted to explore the Best that Oceanside had to offer. It had to be big, it had to have a view or some atmosphere, it had to have service. We had looked at some other places, but because we had seen this place before it was all developed, we really thought this was the best choice. Now before I begin to sound at all negative, let me just say, everything was great. We were completely happy with just about everything and we recommend 333. We can be a little jaded because we live in Vegas, I worked for years in Fine dining, and operated some of the best restaurants in Los Angeles and Vegas. I am extremely generous with evaluations. And if this place fell short, it probably felt short from my expectations of Fine Dining compared to what Is probably more of a really good steakhouse in a beach community. And that's probably all it needs to be and achieves. The food we ordered was Octopus, watermelon Burratta salad, steak and lobster tails for 2. A side of creamed spinach. Our server was amazing, support staff was good, hostess team on night of was amazing. We loved the Octopus, great presentation and flavor wirh the roasted pepper puree, and arugula. Maybe the arugula was just slightly over dressed. The Salad i had to wonder, this is a summer salad...and it's December. It was good. The steak and lobster tail were amazing. I already new that the tails were gonna come from a frozen state, and they were just slightly undecooked...not enough to complain. The creamed spinach we returned..just too peppered and spiced. Caught us totally off guard. I hate to complain, but out server when hearing my complaint immediately took action and removed from bills ( she really was exceptional all night) So where we were disappointed..where did this fall short...maybe it was us, maybe it was the slightly dirty window, maybe the original 10 min hold to make a reservation, that when I called back was immediately handled well ( they just forgot about me) Maybe i was expecting tables to be crumbed by support staff.. I just can't put my finger on it, so it's just got to be me and my extremely high level of expectations of a place that is a premium type destination. I will come again, it's still good. I just won't put on a sport coat.
