Ruth's Chris Steak House

Went for Happy Hour in the bar. Prices are in red on the menu. Arrived around 5pm on a Thursday, bar was about half full. Spouse ordered Lemon Drop, I had diet coke and Vodka. She said her drink was really good, mine was the usual. Waitress brought a small loaf of bread with butter. It was excellent. Ordered steak sandwich and a chicken sandwich. Service was excellent. We must have had 3 people check in with us at least 5 times. Took 20-25 minutes for the food, which seemed a bit excessive. Both sandwiches were very good. Bun for steak sandwich was ok but would have loved to have that sandwich on the same bread they gave us with butter. Fries were eh. They were freshly cut and fried, but a bit soft not crunchy and semi warm. Loaf of bread was the best part. Tab was around $70 for two with tip.

Overall great experience, we made a reservation for my nephews birthday online a week in advance. When we arrived we were greeted by the employee and taken to our seats promptly. The table was devoted with happy birthday confetti which I thought was a nice touch. The waitress was very polite and helpful explaining the menu. I stated off with an espresso martini which was great, as a starter I ordered the lobster bisque which was okay, nothing to rave about, I wish it would have been a tad bit warmer and not as salty as it was. My main entree was the Filet and Lobster tail which was perfection! Along with the Mac & Cheese, Creamed spinach and mashed potatoes. Overall the experience was amazing we enjoyed our dinner and the great service the staff provided, making this a birthday dinner my nephew really appreciated.

Arrived before six and grabbed a seat at the bar for a drink and Happy Hour food . For a Friday it was already getting fairly busy . Bartender quickly acknowledged me and greeted me with their menu and options . Menu and prices for happy hour was good and reasonable. I chose a steak sandwich which is served on a garlic bread and comes with bearnaise sauce on the side and garlic fries . The bartender asked how to cook the steak and it was cooked to my desired doneness . Good service from the bar staff and food came out quickly. I would recommend this place for their Happy hour .

Ruth Chris Long Beach was the best date night we could have asked for. The food is always consistent and the quality is top tier BUT it was the IMPECCABLE service we received that made our night! Hailey was our server and Adolfo was her server assistant and both of them were a dream! Hailey gave us recommendations when we couldn’t decide between our sides and made sure she kept us updated on our drink orders when the bar got a little backed up. We were going to skip dessert and then we saw an Apple crumble that another table had ordered and Hailey highly recommended it…I’m so glad she did. We had such an amazing time that we left our table and went to the bar. The bar was packed but we never felt as though we were being ignored as you sometimes can feel when the bar is busy. Overall, this has been the best Ruth Chris experience I have had out of going to multiple locations in and outside of SoCal. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I were celebrating both our retirements! Family had given us gift certificates to Ruth Chris and it was amazing! Our server Shane went above and beyond to make our meal special! Highly recommend adding this restaurant to your wish list as it will be worth every cent!!

Had an incredible after Valentine's dinner with our family. We had two of the Classic dinners, our son had the French Onion soup, mashed potatoes and the filet with shrimp, Ihad the housesalad, filet and creamed spinach, other son had the salmon with shrimp and wifey had the Filet and lobster special. I took my finance out to eat here for a birthday dinner and explained to the staff i wanted to make it a special experience for him since it was our first time dining here and they went above and beyond i am extremely satisfied with the customer service. Kaitlyn was our server and she had the sweetest demeanor and made us feel very comfortable. Troy was also the kindest ! the food that he suggested was delicious and my fiancé loved this experience and we are going home happy. we are so grateful for our night Thank you so much to all of those who served us but especially Kaitlyn and Troy !! :)
