Nick's on 2nd Long Beach

What an amazing birthday lunch today! Nick’s has been a family tradition for celebrating. Today was one of our best experiences by far, Jessica our server was so exceptional, her caring & kindness to my family was beyond expectations. Thank you & really appreciated the complimentary birthday cake! What a surprise 🎂

Date night location. It's romantic and has good dessert to feast on such as the butter cake, it's a must have 9.2/10 due to it's butter smooth taste. You'll enjoy. I ordered the sea bass. It could have been better but definitely a good dish, 7.1/10. She ordered the blackened fish sandwich. It's huge and will get messy. She liked it, 7.2/10. Ordered the spinach dip, this was a highlight, I ate every ounce. 9.3/10. Location is very clean, the staff is nice, the kitchen view was cool. I would go back again but not often, there is better out there.

Atmosphere depends on where you're comfortable and I have to say, the clientele here are very wealthy people who give off a stuck up vibe, so it isn't a chill place with good vibes for that reason. The staff is not very happy and it can take a long time for you to get a drink order, which is fine, I was nice about it, but it is an upper end higher priced restaurant and I found the service lacking a bit in speed and friendliness. They were friendly enough though, but it was three stars worth of friendly, like meh I'm here, but I'm a little grumpy about it. The food was super delicious! The deviled eggs are breaded and fried, super delicious appetizer. The Bistro plate is really good. You get a filer mignon soup and salad. But if you get drinks here you're looking to be all in for a meal for one all in with 20% tip at $100.00 so it is not for the budget limited. That being said, for a nice lunch, or dinner out. The food is very good! The fig old fashioned are delicious and it could be a nice place to treat yourself to a nice meal.

Also had the warm butter cake and can I just say - OH MY GOD - one of the best desserts I've had. It's a really intelligently crafted dessert, very rich and decadent with the berry compote adding just the right amount of sweetness, also a good desssert to share with others. Staff were super friendly, table and silverware were very clean/tidy. There's also an overall pleasant/good atmosphere in the restaurant. Great experience and would definitely go back if I visit Long Beach again.

1st time coming to this restaurant. It was awesome. The food was delicious 😋 and the cocktails were superb. It is a bit pricey but it is worth it. Great server and hostesses. Just overall a great restaurant.

What a great place. Warm hospitality and excellent service. Sebastian, you knocked it out of the park! The food? WOW. the roasted Brussels sprouts are so good they leave you wanting more. The Burger was hands down the BEST.

Always a good meal at Nick's. Their warm butter cake is the best I've ever had. A little loud indoors due to hard surfaces and dim but drinks are good and the menu is deep with well crafted options. Great lunch special too. Highly recommend.
