Gladstone's Long Beach

A local friend recommended that we visit this place. The food was great, and we enjoyed every dish, especially the Parmesan fish and Caesar salad. We also got free tiramisu on Valentine's Day!

The environment was second to none. Wow. Beautiful views. Service was good. Food was just kind of okay. Not.bad or anything; just average. Seemed like it sat around for a while before we got it. The chocolate cake dessert was very good.

Visiting So Cal & spent Thanksgiving at this waterfront location. Beautiful sunset views from the patio. Enjoyed the spiked cucumber refreshment, the trio (salmon, shrimp & crabcake), Thanksgiving dinner was very tasty & it came with dessert, too. Calamari & coconut shrimp appetizers (not pictured). We enjoyed our drinks, dinner & the beautiful California sunset, even though it seemed like the kitchen was having a hard time filling orders properly & promptly. We appreciated the normal menu being available due to many local restaurants only serving turkey/ham. Inside there are large windows facing the water & a fully equipped bar & tvs.

Gladstones was wonderful! They have plenty of indoor and out seating with beautiful views of the Queen Mary and the bay, and we were sat in a beautiful booth outside. We got a california roll for an appetizer, and for mains we got blackened swordfish with gilroy mashers (garlic mashed potatoes) and veggies, and the new york steak with the same sides. Everything was so delicious! The fish was fresh, flaky and buttery! The steak was beautifully seasoned and tender! The California roll was fresh and bursting with flavor! Our server was wonderful and very attentive! If you’re looking for fresh seafood, friendly staff, and a beautiful atmosphere, Gladstones is the place for you!

ENJOYED my first ever experience here . Service was good food so good obviously cause I ate every bite . My only complaint was how noisy it was that night. But won't stop me from returning with hopes it was just one of those nights . However nice to hear people enjoying themselves . Thank you for a good first visit .

I came here for lunch during a business trip and Gregory was my waiter. I enjoyed the service and had a very nice view of The Queen Mary from my window. I ordered their "BLT Cobb Salad" and it was delicious. Plus the bread that came as an appetizer was fantastic. I got there around 1130 from the Convention Center. It was a short walk, especially from the walkway going over Shoreline Dr. Overall I was very happy with my meal and would recommend them. I did not have to wait long to eat and it was definitely doable on a short lunch break.

Our server was attentive, friendly, and helpful as it was our first time eating here. The bread and butter they brought out was great. I ordered the lobster tail and the Jamaican jerk salmon. Both were cooked perfectly, especially the salmon. The only reason I rate the salmon 4/5 is because it didn’t come with an actual jerk sauce- it was a dry spice rub. Delicious nonetheless, but I ended up asking for a side of jerk sauce that they had for the wings- which then took the dish to the next level. There is bar seating inside. Parking has valet option or a paid parking lot. Overall, it was a great meal and a nice atmosphere.

Reservations were easy. Seafood and sides were excellent. The bartender working the evening we had dinner came looking for me because it was obvious I made an error in overtipping on the bill. I appreciate his honesty
