About Broken Bit Steakhouse - steak house in Lancaster, California

Western-themed steakhouse offering bison & sarsaparilla, plus small-batch whiskies & cocktails.

Customer Review Summary

Broken Bit Steakhouse offers a friendly and accommodating dining experience, with quick seating even without a reservation. The menu features well-seasoned dishes, including perfectly cooked salmon and juicy kebabs with garlic mashed potatoes. Patrons appreciate the fresh, high-quality food and top-notch service, celebrating special occasions with thoughtful touches like birthday signs and desserts. The ambiance is cozy with a western theme, and drink selections, especially on themed nights like Whiskey Wednesday, impress customers. While many reviews praise the overall quality of food and service, one visit was marred by an overly seasoned steak, leading to disappointment and a lack of resolution from management. Despite some mixed experiences, the majority of diners enjoy the tender steaks, skillfully crafted cocktails, and personalized service, making it a recommended spot for celebrations.

One Love

The servers and hostess were friendly and accommodating. We should have had a reservation but they still seated us quickly After sitting down the restaurant filled up and the servers were busy. They are cheerful and I appreciate them letting us have a table. We had the salmon dinner, the kebab dinner and a stuffed baked potato. The salmon was perfectly seasoned. The asparagus and rice were very good to. The kebab came with garlic mashed potatoes that was made perfectly. The steak on the kebab was juicy and we had no complaints. Everything was very good. We forgot to take pictures of the food. It smelled so good we just dug in. A good food spot for sure.

Best place to get top notch service and all fresh and high quality food. They treat you nice on you birthday with a special table sign too! Ribeye steak was delicious and be sure to split you stuffed baked potato with someone because HALF of it is big! $$$$ You get what you pay for here! The apple crisp dessert comes in a cast iron pan and is fresh baked! Sweet!!

Very cool spot in Quartz Hill. Cozy restaurant with a western themed bar. Their menu was pleasant and had some great specials. It was Whiskey Wednesday, which meant they had a $6 whiskey shot and a whiskey burger. I had the Lamb Sirloin. It was great, but very very fatty. Mashed potatoes were awesome with the sauce they provide. Whiskey selection was pretty incredible. They must have had 100 different bourbons on their menu! Very nice people working there at the bar, too. I’ll eat here again.

Second time visiting. First visit was great! Food was prefect! The place has a great down to earth feeling - with classic country music being the norm. Drinks are awesome - they don't skimp on the alcohol. Today, however, was not so great. We didn't eat ALL day in anticipation of having a great and expensive steak dinner. The steak was OVER seasoned - too salty... although we did our best to enjoy it - it just want wasn't possible. Everything else was good. But the salty steaks killed date night. After notifying the manager/ owner - who was very nice - we were disappointed a replacement or comp was not offered. What we spent for 2 people - $300 - is more than we normally spend at Black Angus for the entire family of 5 (4 adults & 1 HS Sr.)!!! With drinks!!!! In the 30 plus years of going to Black Angus - we've never had a quality control issue. Sadly, we won't be going back... back to Black Angus - $69 dinner for 2 (2 main dishes, 4 sides, 1 shared dessert - all big in size)... with drinks, appetizers, and tips - we normally spend a good $125-$175 for two! And we take leftovers for the 3 college/HS kids!

Celebrated my 60th birthday there. Our first time going to the restaurant. Our steaks were soooooooo tender! The lobster was delicious! They gave me a homemade scoop of vanilla ice cream with sprinkles and a candle! Great experience and highly recommend! Thank you, Broken Bit Steakhouse, for a wonderful birthday dinner!🥰🥰

We went to celebrate our anniversary! They made it extra special ! The crafted cocktails are worth trying. Our waiter was very skilled at suggesting drinks. We splurged for the wagyu steaks. Each side is a separate price and not included. The meal is delicious. If you want a cheaper option- their hamburgers are amazing!

The food was amazing, the service was outstanding and the atmosphere was nice. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and our waitress personalized our experience. I recommend this steak house to all my friends.

We came here for the first time for our anniversary a few days ago. Restaurant has a nice feel. Service was great throughout and everyone was extremely friendly. We got a few drinks, which we enjoyed and weren't too pricey. Food was good overall, with the rib eye being a really well cooked and flavored steak. Pork chop with polenta was great, jalapeno Mac and garlic mushrooms were okay. Crab cakes were really good and the sauce was great.
