Expecting a full mexican food menu just by the name on the front of the building is somewhat expected. Turns out this place has a bit of a fancy upgrade to it. It does have mexican food but its main dishes are steak and fish after 3 pm. Before 3 pm, it does have chilaquiles more of a breakfast menu. Entering the restaurant, you can see all servers dressed the same in the same style black uniform, making them stand out. The food is good. A unique style of taste. Ordered a fish plate that was very flavorful with purple mashed potatoes and diced Brussel sprouts. The fish was a bit over cooked. I also got a 3 ceviche appetizer platter. One had shrimp and the other two had fish. All of these where delicious 😋. My favorite ones where the shrimp and the cooked fish. The one in the middle was raw fish with mango. Depending on what you want to eat it could get expensive. So far what we got was good and worth it.

Super impressed by this place, did not know what to expect when I walked in but was met with a gourmet experience and stellar service. Started with deviled eggs and empanadas, knew I was in for a treat after those dishes. Had a fantastic steak with chimmichuri and cilantro mashed potatoes and my partner had a delicious paella. Guava crem brûlée was to DIE FOR. please get the guava crème brûlée you will not be disappointed. Our server David was a pro and so nice. 10/10 on everything about this place!

Probably one of the best vegetarian raviolis I have had! Amazing and delicious food, there is no denying that! The only con to the place is that there is only one vegetarian entree and barely any vegetarian dishes. And the food is very pricey! I ordered one martini (which was made to perfection thanks to the amazing bartender), one order of Brussel sprouts (delicious), and the three cheese ravioli (extraordinary). My total with tip was 80 dollars! The quality of the food and the taste was unmatched. But not reasonable to pay 80 dollars for one person’s meal. :)

Lovely restaurant! Glad we stopped by on a whim to try this place out. Our experience was so great, we plan on bringing friends and family here in the future.

This is a really unique and must visit Latin American/Mexican food establishment in the Bay Area. I was extremely impressed with the drinks, the presentation of the food, the overall appearance of the restaurant and the cleanliness, and the food. This is a must visit restaurant if you’re near Hayward and you’re looking for a brunch spot or an excellent dinner. The cocktails here are out of this world. It’s clear that the bar is world-class and that the drinks have careful planning and great ingredients. I highly recommend the Paloma or any of the other offerings here. They also have a limited offering appears on draft or bottles if that’s your thing. If you come here during breakfast or lunch, a brunch menu with a lot of plates, focusing around some kind of breakfast. They do have hamburgers and chicken sandwiches, but really you must try the brunch that they have here. The chilaquiles that I had with some of the best I’ve ever tried. They have eggs Benedict with short ribs, which is just amazing. I haven’t come here for dinner yet, but I can only imagine that the dinner here is just to die for. There’s plenty of parking in the neighborhood, but it doesn’t have a dedicated parking lot that I saw. We ended up parking a block away and walking about two minutes. The service here is equally convenient and super friendly. They also have lots of outdoor seating and indoor seating and it’s got a good enough spacing. Also, wow, the bathrooms were super clean. Super impressed with everything. Highly recommended.

To be my first time in that place The food was very good, very tasty although the sttention was not that good the waiter left us alone for a long period of time after he served the food not mentioning the container where the water was served was very nasty moldy on the cap. I was thinking of bringing my husband to taste the food there, but now I'm kinda not wanted to. let me tell you that the owner came out, and he was very nice and polite, and he helped us out by giving us containers for the leftover we had it was very weird because the place was full it couldn't be a better attention from the waiter.

LOCAL STAR: This place always brings good company and the food is amazing. The drinks are quality even with amazing mezcal selection. This is not your typical Mexican/Cantina. It’s more of new America with a twist of some Spanish dishes. The pork bellow is amazing. Mezcal glaze salmon too. Servers: David is a patient and careful listener. Aaron always makes the best recommendations. Miriam is a blessing and detail oriented. Always have a great time here. Look no further, this is that spot you’ve been looking to add.

I recently visited this spot and was immediately drawn in by the fantastic ambiance and warm lighting. While it can get quite busy at times, the atmosphere remains lively and inviting. The food was enjoyable, although not the best I've had. That being said, the quality was still solid, and the portions were generous. My only note is that the prices are a bit steep - our total came out to over $100 for two entrees and an appetizer (No drinks) Overall, I'd recommend this place for its great vibes and decent food, but be prepared for a slightly higher bill.
