It was a good place but unfortunately since I went to another one a year ago this one came out short to be honest. The entertainment was the same but as the food comes out it gets cold and my previous place same scenario better location and better set up as well as the food coming out hot hot. Would I come a second time no to be honest it was overpriced for cold food.

Great food cooked in front of you. Our chef (William) was talkative and had a flare that made the experience wonderful. Our waitress Victoria) could not of been nicer. She was super fast and was telling jokes the whole time. We will be back.

-Edit cause I wanna say: Mtw Dew has the funniest name tag and every time I think of a place with food service, friendly and welcoming demeanor, I always think of Mtn Dew at the sushi bar. If you see him give him a wonderful hello and a tip. If you HAVEN'T been graced by the presence of Mtn Dew you are missing out. Will easily be coming back and hopefully to see him again **** edit several years later**** this place still bomb. If you haven't sent here for a birthday you're cheating yourself out of an amazing time and I won't be explaining myself ~~~old review from a few years ago~~~ Terrific sound, atmosphere, personality. This establishment is almost like a small City. It has such a life to it that you can't help but be relieved from your day and simply relax. The portions and prices are strangely... Fair! I've been to a good handful of sushi places and either the price is cheap but it matches the product or you're going to spend 30 bucks just for 2 rolls. Here you have a price for fantastic flavor, mouth filling bites, and ending around spending what you can fit for yourself without breaking the bank. I would take someone on a date here, I would hold a birthday here, I'd come here on an average Tuesday. This place is pretty great all aroun

The only thing I don’t like about tepanyaki places, is that they wait to fill the table before the chef comes out to start preparing your meal. The food itself was great, I’d definitely come back. The shrimp were kind of small, but the serving sizes of everything was very generous. We tried a few rolls which were also very good. Located in a strip mall, like most places in Rancho so lots of parking available. They have a bar section as well with a TV for sports if that’s something you look for.

The staff was very kind. I ordered an entrée to share with my friend, we had just got off work, next-door. they separated it on two plates for us. the Chicken and Scallops were really good. I also ordered a couple of sushi rolls. I found a hair on one of them so it turned my appetite off. I enjoyed the soup though and my friends said the salad and beer was really good.

I love this place for it's location, environment, great service attitude, great portion and good price. However their sushi rolls are not fresh and very bad quality than can not even compare to ones from chinese buffet places(which is lowest quality rank already). It was our mistake to order rolls from this restaurant, i suspect the quality won't be good but our daughter who's sushi roll lover, wants the roll. She took a bite says its really bad, and we have tried one, fish stinks. Not editable! We enjoyed other foods and left this over on table, waitress heard my option but that's all

Wait was a bit long but it was definitely worth it. Prices are fair but the food is AMAZING. The chef was very friendly and did some awesome tricks. Thanks Kenny!

Came in on a Friday around 4:45pm got seated right away. They get busy right around this time. All of our drinks & appetizer (a sushi roll) came out quickly. Me & my friend ordered the Imperial deluxe dinner which consists of soup, salad, (3) shrimp, NY steak, chicken & scallops (or shrimp option) with fried rice. Honestly that meal is big enough for both of us to share. I'll have to keep that in mind for next time. I personally felt like the food lacked a little salt. Obviously the dipping sauces help with that I guess. Other than that our Teppan guy was nice, funny & entertaining and we had a very pleasant experience ☺
