Glad to have been able to try this place. The meat was top quality and our server was nice. It's been a few days, and I'm still mad about the karaage. I'm saying, don't order it. Otherwise, the sushi was fine and the other diner with me LOVED the Thai chili shrimp. One other downside is they charge $15 for a bottle of soju. Anything more that $4 is price gouging, IMO. But the interior was nice to look at, though a bit cramped.

The price is $45.99, with a $6 discount if you purchase a membership, which equals $39 for the Wagyu Buffet. For seniors over 65, there is also a 20% discount, which equals $36.70 for one person for the Wagyu Buffet, which is a great deal. If you want more wagyu options, you can choose the dinner menu. However, it's best to get there early for dinner, before 5:30pm every day, so there's no need to wait in line (because Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are relatively crowded). If you have a friend's birthday, you can tell the waiter that they will have a special program. Then they are available for reservations on yelp.

The place is smaller compared to their other locations, but it still holds it down. Rowland Heights is still my go-to place. The setup is cozy with booths everywhere, but it gets smokey...real BBQ energy. The menu’s not huge, but it gets the job done. My only thing? Some cuts are too thin and overcook fast, so you lose that good texture. Thick cuts are where it’s at for me. They finish you off with ice cream to cool it all down, which is a nice touch. I didn’t know that on holidays they only offer a set price, which was a bit disappointing since we really wanted to try the Gold or Diamond tiers for their wider selection of sashimi and special dishes. Maybe it’s just this location, because I saw that the Monterey Park location offers that kind of menus. That aside, the food was amazing! They have the best A5 meat I’ve ever had, and the appetizers were just as impressive. I highly recommend trying the Wagyu Ootoro, beef tartare, and salmon carpaccio. The meat literally melts in your mouth—so flavorful and tender. I usually don’t eat raw meat, but the beef tartare was absolutely perfect—no strong smell, well-seasoned, and paired beautifully with the crispy chip. The salmon was a 10/10—super fresh and delicious with a touch of wasabi. The staffs were really friendly and helpful too I’ll definitely be coming back!
