The Capital Grille

I had the pleasure of dining at Capital Grill last night, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The restaurant's Valentine’s Day decorations were beautifully done, adding a charming and festive atmosphere to the evening. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. We started with the clam chowder soup, which was absolutely delicious—creamy, flavorful, and just the right balance of ingredients. For the main course, I had the grilled salmon, which was incredibly juicy and cooked to perfection. The lamb chops were another highlight of the meal; they were perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. As for the lobster mac n' cheese, while it was good, it didn’t quite meet my expectations—it was a bit more standard than I hoped for, but still tasty. Overall, a great experience, and I’ll definitely be back to try more of their offerings!

Even though the restaurant was packed and bustling with activity, stepping into the private room felt like entering a peaceful retreat. The food was absolutely fantastic, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect—so friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Having the private room made all the difference—it was intimate, comfortable, and ideal for the occasion. I can imagine the main dining area was lively and loud, but in our private space, it was all about great food, great company, and exceptional service. If you’re considering a venue for a holiday party or special gathering, I highly recommend The Capital Grille. It’s an experience you won’t forget!

I really like this place. Terrific steak. Tender and delicious. The onion soup tastes very rich. Our waiter was very nice. The whole environment is quite and classic. Strongly recommend this place to others.

Our waiter Shannon was exceptional—she crafted a fantastic turmeric spice drink that was both unique and flavorful. The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely, making it a perfect setting for a relaxing evening. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and a delightful atmosphere!

The food was delicious, and the service was perfectly on time after each course. Sadly, they were out of our favorite special, but it was valentines weekend. They gave a rose to all the women, which was a lovely addition.

We went for their yearly Generous Pour event. During this time, if you order a dinner entree, you can add a Generous Pour for $45 extra. That includes 7 wine tastings and more of any of the 7 you would like. Delicious addition to the meal. We loved all 7 wines! Celebrating anniversary there was wonderful also! Excellent food and service!

This is one of my best friends favorite places to go so we came. Our dinner reservation at 6:45 and left at almost 11 PM because we were having such a good time! Food was amazing and our service was outstanding. We sat in the bar area and our bartender and server, Eric was absolutely superb! I’m sober and don’t drink, and Eric was so accommodating and made me some amazing Mocktails. We will definitely be coming back.
