Customer Review Summary
The blackened Atlantic salmon is a healthy choice but overpriced for its quality. Service can be slow, with long wait times for food and refills. Experience varied from great dining and attentive service at the bar to issues with parking and inconsistent meal quality. Some dishes, like the steak and shrimp, received praise for perfect cooking. Atmosphere is welcoming for families and couples, with friendly staff noted, such as the waitress who celebrated a guest's birthday. Food quality appears to have declined, with smaller portions and cold meals reported. Overall, dining experiences range from enjoyable to average, with recommendations to choose specific locations over others.

Their blackened atlantic salmon is a great choice for those looking for a balanced and healthy option. The taste is nothing spectacular but not bad at all, and relatively fresh. The roasted vegetables were surprisingly flavorful too. The portion size with the sides was perfect, leaving me satisfied even as I was pretty hungry. I must admit though that it’s absurdly overpriced for what you get. There are MUCH better options nearby that are also significantly cheaper. The service was pretty bad, taking about 40 minutes to get our food and nobody available to refill our waters for at least 10-15 minutes. Overall, pretty average for fast-casual dining.

Had an awesome day date with the misses and my service dog. Sat at the bar and had they're happy hour specials yes I eat got a little bit of almost everything lol Calamari, mozzarella stick, fried zucchini, slidders, wedge salad, and for my service doggie I got her a kids meal 2 slider special with mac and cheese I ate 😀 food was delicious, service was awesome.

I visited this Claim Jumper location because the two restaurants near me have permanently closed. But, it was a good experience even though the drive was much farther. I had the southwest egg rolls as an appetizer and the steak and shrimp for my entree. The egg rolls were good, but the steak was cooked to medium-rare perfection. The only thing that wasn't good was the parking situation. This location shares parking with the shopping mall; it was a mission to find an available stall.

Everything here was perfect. Our server Donovan was outstanding. He was the greatest. Our food was spectacular. Steak and shrimp. Or did you want the sea bass. Both were awesome. If you have a picker eater, they have food for them, too. And just order the desert it is worth it.

Warm feeling place for dating, I saw lots of families and friends enjoy the time here. I had a cocktail and sirloin, my husband got lobster BLT and clam chowder.

When I eat out, I prefer to go to the local taco truck. But for my birthday, my wife took me to Claim Jumper in Costa Mesa on Bristol. I had never eaten at Claim Jumper before, but I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed myself. It was a festive atmosphere, and the food and desert were great. A special hat tip to our waitress Evie. She was awesome. She even picked up on the fact that it was my birthday and put a candle on my cake and sang Happy Birthday to me. It felt good to be acknowledged. For anyone reading this review, my wife advises to stay away from the Claim Jumper in Buena Park. She says the parking lot is overran with homeless people asking for money, and the food is always cold. She says just go to the Claim Jumper In Costa Mesa and ask to be seated in Evie's section.

The restaurant was very busy, however we were quickly seated and the food came out pretty good. Food is good, sides were just ok. Good for the price.

One of the last remaining claim jumpers, just a shell of its former self, but a bite of nostalgia nevertheless. The food is good but a small fraction of what it had before. The best part is the return of the turkey supper, but ask for extra gravy. It is a seasonal time now, so be sure to get it while you can. The NY steak was good too, but not worth what they are changing for it. As you can see, the side of corn is slightly bigger than a shot glass and not good. The service is subpar. Be prepared to ask for what you want a few times before you get it. The food arrived cold. I guess it was sitting in the kitchen for a bit before it came to our table.
