BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse

I sat at bar as I was alone two other people came almost 9-14 minutes after me they were served before me. Restaurant wants t even busy once I received my food burger was way over cooked fries cold . I tired telling manger and he got aggressive . In my opinion this is why these restaurants don’t last I will never go back

This place has gone down hill and quickly. As we are walking in, there was a guest yelling at a server (not sure if he was telling him a story of drama that happened inside or yelling at him for something he did). We go in and sit at a table in the bar section. Our waiter was the best part of our experience, she was nice and I have 0 complaints about her. The women's bathroom was FILTHY (Worse than a taco bell bathroom on a bad day) the floors looked like they hadn't been mopped in weeks, the back of all of the toilets were covered in dirty, dust and god knows what else. Our food came out and everything on the surf and turf plate was ice cold the mashed potatoes, asparagus, steak and shrimp all COLD. We sent it back and they reheated it. During us eating the same guy that was yelling at a waiter outside when we first arrived came back inside in a panic with blood dripping down his face saying he was assaulted by an employee outside. All of the workers and managers went outside to get involved in the drama. No cops ever came. All in all it takes me a lot to leave a bad review, but this was not a good experience and that's a shame because we usually enjoy the BJs chain.

Went decided to come to BJ’s after we finished bowling on a Saturday night. There was a wait but we decided to sit at the bar. Great decision. Our bartender was AMAZING. She was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. To note- the bar was also pretty busy. Shout out bar staff. We got the Chips and Queso, Deep dish Pepperoni Pizza and The Brownie Pizookie. All were amazing. There are so many more things we want to try. Everything looks good. This was such a great night. Food was great and Service was excellent. We will absolutely be back to try more of the menu! Thanks for making it such an easy night out!

DO NOT COME HERE -hostess was missing so we couldn’t even sign up for the waitlist for 10 minutes -it’s filthy! I had a piece of shrimp sitting next to me -service was terrible! Our waiter was missing whole orders and items missing from our order multiple times. They were forgetful and their speech was slurred even the table next to us had the same experience. He took our gift card to charge our bill and it took about 20 minutes and he even had the audacity to ask if he had the right card even though we had handed it to him. -The food was mediocre and tasteless. The steak tasted like it had been sitting out for a long time and had a FUNK to it. I I really wanted to like this place. So so so many things wrong with this place please retrain this guy or check in on him it’s concerning.

Disappointing First Experience at BJ’s Restaurant - Pleasant Hill I was really looking forward to my first visit to BJ’s Restaurant in Pleasant Hill, but unfortunately, it was a big letdown. I ordered the salmon, and it was completely tasteless — no flavor at all. The onion rings were another disaster; they were so rock hard I was worried they’d crack my teeth, and the onion inside was rubbery and almost inedible. It was honestly one of the worst I’ve had. The only saving grace was our waiter, who was friendly and attentive, but sadly, that didn’t make up for the disappointing food. I expected much better and left highly disappointed.

Service was okay but what ticked me off was when I went to pay the bill, my friend and I split the bill evenly and the restaurant charged me twice the amount on the credit card receipt. I called the store and the manager said there was nothing they can do. Now I’m out $100 when my bill was only $43. These people are thieves. Spend your money at more reputable places.

I've been to BJs in other locations, but this location was excellent. Our server Sally, wow, was so kind and took care of us with excellence. In addition the manager came to our table and greeted us. We were honored. My Ribeye was cooked to perfection, and the clam chowder was absolutely on point. The prime rib was devine. I happily recommend you try them out!

I would love to name out our server but he never even introduced himself. All I know about him is he also works next door at Round 1. After waiting forever, we got our party of 10 served. He disappeared unannounced and we had his backup waiting on us and we waited about 30 minutes to understand that, get a few to-go boxes and eventually our bill. We had a 10-star rating at The Lazy Dog the night before down the street, so if looking for actual "Service", please seek your event there.
