Customer Review Summary

Vigilucci's Seafood & Steakhouse offers traditional Italian cuisine with beautiful ocean views from the patio. Reservations are highly recommended, especially during busy times. Food quality is mixed; dishes like sea bass and scallops received praise, while others like spaghetti bolognese and capris salad were criticized. Service is generally friendly and efficient, though some diners experienced slow bread service and issues with steak cooking. The atmosphere is pleasant, but noise levels can be high depending on seating. Prices are considered worthwhile, albeit somewhat high for lunch. Overall, it’s a popular spot for special occasions, with a reputation for great service and flavorful food.

Local owned Italian restaurant that is right on the blvd. Ocean views from the patio and bar area. The food is traditional Italian food. Keep in mind, if it is a busy holiday weekend or high season, they have a limited menu and raised prices. Reservations are highly recommended as it gets busy around sunset. We had the spaghetti bolognese and sea bass. Both were delicious, although the spaghetti was beyond al dente, almost crunchy. The sea bass was amazing with the forbidden rice and glaze! We also had caprice salad. This dish was terrible! The green tomatoes were hard as a rock. We couldn't even eat them. When I asked about it, the waiter shrugged it off, and said, "maybe not the season". Seriously? I can find them year-round at the grocery store a block away. Either way, no apologies or concessions. The location is the saving grace to this restaurant. And they are expanding the patio seating into the parking lot.

Delicious Italian food with a beautiful view sitting in the patio. Every table but ours was given bread so we had to ask for some in order to get it. Didn’t like that since we got it after our food came out.

This restaurant is great! Atmosphere is relaxing and the staff is really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, some italian classics and some twists, steak are really tasty (Tomahawk) and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. Have in mind, they only have valet parking. Reservation 100% recommended.

We entered in the afternoon as it was on our way, and found still a table on the terrace. The place was rather full otherwise. The valet parking was useful but packed. Seated outside was a bit noisy and not terribly comfortable on the high chairs. The waitress was fast and efficient. For the food, we took the scallops with mushrooms which had a nice taste of truffle sauce. The polenta added to it was nice as well. The calamari and shrimps plate however was disappointing how salty it was.

Big splurge! Excellent service by a sexy Italian waiter and a team of others for our table of six. We had a great time. Fantastic food and cocktails. Fresh bread! Oysters, shrimp cocktail, scallop risotto -- all yummy. Two of us sent steaks back to the kitchen to be cooked more. Mine returned still too rare for me and I wondered if it had actually been put back on the grill; I ordered medium rare and it was still bright red in the middle. To be fair, the meat was top quality and delicious but I took it home to finish for lunch the next day.

I had an awesome dining experience at Vigilucci’s! The location is ideal overlooking the ocean, and perfect for sunset. Service was efficient, and friendly. The food was the real knockout. Portions were huge. Dishes were fresh, and favorable. I would definitely dine here again!

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. We've spent the last 2 anniversaries here and I look forward to it each time.

Wonderful lunch overlooking the Pacific Ocean. A close friend recommended this place if were in the area. I love to eat high quality food and this was splendid. I had great Halibut over a bed of risotto and spinach with small shrimp. My partner had a beautiful Chicken with mushrooms and fresh vegetables on the side. We had an excellent waiter who made good recommendations and provided top notch service. Cost including tip was $100. Usually wouldn’t spend this for a lunch but it was perhaps the best lunch in a long, long time.
