Hungry Hunter Steakhouse

I went there for The Prime Rib and it was delicious. The rest of the food was not even mediocre in my opinion. The shrimp came out over cooked and rubbery. It was taken back to bring me some more that needed to be deveined. I just gave up trying on the shrimp and took the loss on those too. I don't eat shrimp that has not been cleaned properly. The mushrooms I know came from a jar and not a good brand. The salad was bag salad with 2 grape tomatoes. The fried green beans were crispy hamburger stand quality. Oh lord please don't start me on the burnt overly sweet chicken wings. And I asked the waitress how they cooked the wings and she said fried crispy so I thought they would be plain delicious fried crispy wings with dipping sauce. NOPE not at all they were burnt sweet wings.The service was not good at all. A couple that came in after me got both their appetizers and food before me. I should have known because when I first walked in the restaurant the hostess looked at me as though I was an Alien. She told me I could find a seat in the bar area because dinning for dinner did not open until 5pm. I asked her if she could check to see if there was an empty table and she rolled her eyes and popped her lips. I then ask to see if the manager could find out and she became a little more helpful. She told me someone would be cleaning off a table for me and she never let me know when the table was cleaned I walked in the bar area and SHAZAMM there was a clean table. Then the waitress came and acted as tho she was offended by my presence. The first question she asked me was "had I been to the restaurant before". I let her know I had. Her total demeanor was just absolutely not welcoming. But she was very polite and helpful to the couple that was sitting next to me. The same couple that came in after me and was served their food before me. I would not recommend The Hungry Hunter. Oh yeah the restroom was nasty with an exposed sanitary product on the floor and trash receptacle overflowing with used paper towels. I remember when The Hungry Hunter restaurant was a great place for delicious clean prawns and steak for ALL people.

Great Prime Rib ( I always ask waitress to add grill marks on med rare prime rib) tasty. This place has been around a long time and maintains everything as good as day one. Hamburger 🍔 gets A Rating Also their Honey Mustard Dressing on the spinach salad is award winning !!🏆

We had a very nice early dinner there. My grandson had the top sirloin medium rare, fries and corn on the cob. I had the prime rib dip with baked potato. The steak was juicy and cooked just right. Love the table side salad bar option. The restaurant was decorated for Christmas. We had a wonderful time.

They advertise that they have the best prime rib in town and that is not a lie. Absolutely delicious, seasoned really well and perfectly cooked. All of our sides were awesome, and all of the "assisting" servers were very nice and attentive. This is where our experience was not very good, our main server, Aiden. He was not friendly at all, seemed like he was in a bad mood, and was very slow with all of our requests. We ordered two glasses of wine that took 15 minutes to get. He took even longer to take our orders. He never checked on us after finally getting our food and drinks. We finally flagged down a random server to get to go boxes. Meanwhile, throughout the night, I could see him in the back room chatting with some customers most of the time. It seemed like he knew them. I would normally give a much lower rating due to how bad our sever was, but the food was very good and all of the other servers who helped us were fast and friendly. It wouldn't be fair to knock this restaurant due to one poor employee. Overall, I highly recommend this place. Just hope you don't get Aiden.

I left to make a phone call and came back because I was hungry and wanted another drink. The blonde behind the bar was incredibly friendly and lovely in every where. There was also a young Hispanic guy that served me twice also and he was just as lovely! The entire experience was as good as I could’ve hoped for and I will come back for those two alone.

Kaitlyn is awesome, Nicole is a great bar tender, Ryan is a great bar back and is super attentive and overall the manager Rachel does a great job helping out when needed and checking on customer satisfaction. When in the area, do not hesitate to come in and enjoy the ambiance, along with great service and amazing food.

I won’t give 1 star since I’ve never eaten here, I just like the flower pot dessert. Usually it comes in a decent size togo container. Today waited 20min for a dessert that is not even half the size they usually serve. Paid $11 with tip for a scoop of pudding.
