Customer Review Summary

Saddle Ranch Chop House offers a lively western atmosphere with ample seating and friendly service. The bottomless mimosa and large meal portions receive praise, alongside a standout experience with attentive staff like Rebecca. Happy hour deals are celebrated, particularly the cotton candy tower and flavorful appetizers like nachos and wings. However, several reviews highlight issues with the steak quality, describing it as tough and dry, and some experienced slow service and kitchen backups. Located in the shopping outlet. Quite the western cowboy vibe. Plenty of seating with friendly and efficient service. We made it just in time for the bottomless mimosa where I tried all flavours - super good 😊 Meals are served in big portions and was quite yummy.

As a foreigner, from Australia, we were looking for a really nice meal at a steakhouse and come across this restaurant and it was amazing, fantastic atmosphere, fantastic service, our waitress. Rebecca was absolutely amazing and she was very very attentive and very friendly. The food was amazing and the pricing was really good as well, next time we come back to California we will definitely come back here for another meal, cannot write this place highly enough and Rebecca was amazing.

Great service. Giant portions. An amazing happy hour. What’s not to like. I really enjoyed the hard cider on tap along with the nachos and wings. You have to try the cotton candy tower. It’s comical but amazing (for the experience, definitely not for your health). The music was also great and they were showing through music videos.

Visited here for Valentine's before our movie date. I forgot how busy restaurants are every year during Vday lol .. Parking: This spot is located in the OC Block. There is a large parking lot. Just like any other outlet, finding a spot can be difficult, especially on the weekends and during the holidays. Ambiance/Environment: We visited at night. It was extremely busy inside. No one was seated outside when we checked in. They have a large space. It's pretty dark inside during dinner. There are two bars with plenty of indoor seating. The bull machine is in the back of the restaurant. Service: They were definitely understaffed. We were told wait time for a table will be 45 min. We were offered the bar instead. There was only one server at the bar. He was nice and courteous. Throughput took a while after ordering as the kitchen was backed up. Food: 1) Monster Platter - This included baby back ribs, onion rings, sweet potatoe fries, mini sliders (4), chicken strips (3), and 4 different sauces. This is listed under their appetizers, but it was the perfect amount for my bf and I. We enjoyed every food item. Make sure to dip bc the sauces were so flavorful! 2) Creamy Spinach & Artichoke Dip - I ordered this bc I was expecting it to be a small portion. I was definitely wrong lol. The sour dough bread was big and filled with the dip. There was also a generous amount of chips. The dip was so creamyyy! 3) Brussel Sprouts - Our server gave this to us on the house in recovery for the wait time. My bf loves Brussel sprouts, so he really appreciated this! 4) French Fries - The servers also gave this to us on the house. I originally asked to sub the sweet potatoe fries with regular fries, but the order was already in process at the time. I really appreciated their recovery! The fries tasted as expected, but the ranch dip made it better! Pricing: Prices are high $$$ as expected. This is our second time here. We left fulfilled and satisfied, despite the wait.

Saddle Ranch is a beautifully decorated Texas-style restaurant – very stylish and has a great vibe. It’s not too noisy, and the music is just right, which makes for a nice atmosphere. The staff is friendly, and service was on point. The big downside, though, was the steak. It was tough and lacked juiciness, which was disappointing for a place that looks like it specializes in this. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend it to friends.

Fun place to watch football on the 20+ TV all around the restaurant and 2 bars, or watch some folks try mechanical bull riding and celebrate a special event with family and friends. Enjoyed two of the yummy appetizers- roasted bacon brussel sprouts with balsamic glaze and roasted buffalo cauliflower. The Ribeye steak entree was very good and the creamy garlic shrimp and fish tacos entrees were so good! Large portions for all entries. The Bloody Mary's were disappointing though, plain tomato drink with vodka, no spices on the rim, no olives, no celery and very small glasses. The restaurant might benefit from a live stage country band or even just a musician on a guitar, like the restaurant bars in Nashville or Tx to add to the atmosphere when there are no sports games on TV.

The ribs here fall off the bone if you like them like that. The monster platter was a deal, a must order if your rolling deep. The prime rib was good too.

Wasn’t happy with the service. The place wasn’t busy but we still waited forever for everything we’d ask for. Everything we asked for, we ended up having to get up and get it ourselves. Food was not good. Ordered the tritip and it was very dry as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp, even the pickle it came with was dehydrated. Food was just bleh. Frozen food thrown in the air fryer at home would have been better. Also while one of the waitress was filling the drinks at the fountain, she dropped a cup on the dirty floor where she was standing, picked it up and continued to fill it up. So gross. She should have grabbed a new clean cup. Anyway here’s a picture of the sweet potato fries. They were dry and crunchy.
