Ah-So

First time here, friendly staff, and cool ambiance. Ordered a sashimi combo A, the chef picks out 10 pieces - hooked it up! Salmon, yellow tail, tuna, albacore ..possibly, not sure but it was all delish. Also ordered seaweed salad, and smelt eggs and miso soup. Yummy to my belly.

Service was very slow. Sat at the bar and didn't even get approached by a bartender/server for over 5 minutes (bar area was not full/crowded). Then would only take drink order, not food order. Had to wait for someone else to do that. Ordered a mixed template dish and 3 sushi rolls. Took 15-20 minutes to get 2 of the rolls, waited on the 3rd for another 10. Never got our tempura order (but it wasn't on the bill either so obviously order never given to the kitchen). Finally had to leave without the 3rd sushi roll as we were going to be late for a show. Third time now that I have had poor service at this restaurant and so it's the last time I will eat here. In addition, there was a very strong sewage odor where we were sitting that would come and go, which did nothing for the atmosphere.

Honestly, the food is overpriced and not that great. Our food took a good 30+, honestly I mush rather go to Yogi's. The serve was so nice that we had but the girl who brought our was just rude and a couple of others were too. I'm not a big fan. The owner I know is super nice .

Went to dinner here 11-17-24. Our server came right away and took our drink orders. Took almost half an hour to get it. Chef started our entree before we got our soup and salad because our server forgot. Chef put scallops on my plate I said I didn’t order scallops and he took them off my plate and put them on the other lady’s plate!! A plate I had already eaten off of!!! Husband ordered lobster couldn’t eat it. Over cooked and way too salty. After almost 2 hours of dinner time decided to go to bar for chocolate martini which they advertised as a special. Bartender took the order then disappeared. Didn’t see her again so after 15 minutes we just left. Terrible terrible experience. I hope they see this and fix it!!

Really delicious food 🍱 Pretty tasty drinks. I would say make a reservation ahead of time, they get very busy and have a small dining room. 😮 Lots of Spaces to sit at the grills 🔥 If it’s a celebration, I would recommend getting sake 🍶 🙏 Even if it’s a regular dinner on a Tuesday. Sake for the table is worth it! My boyfriend and I always split when we go, because the portions are huge! 🙌 We have always enjoyed the chicken teriyaki bowls and the Teppenyaki plate with lobster, scallop, and shrimp 🦐🦞 4/5 stars ⭐️ only because the last 2 times we were eating there, someone was mopping the floor with bleach and it was SO strong. It’s definitely an atmosphere killer.

The hostess and the sever were super rude and need to learn how to provide better service it was our first time here and they didn't do a good job of making us feel welcomed. If I do return it would only be because the food was good and Alberto did an exceptional job these 5 stars are for him he went above and beyond in making our meal perfect.
